Rick Gates Calls For Mueller Probe Into Joe Biden

OAN Newsroom
UPDATED 7:38 AM PT – Sunday, October 18, 2020

A key witness in the Mueller investigation said he agrees with President Trump’s calls for a similar probe into Joe Biden. One America’s Jennifer Franco spoke with Rick Gates about his thoughts on the matter.

I thought the Mueller probe was over. What is this about? Does someone have a screw loose?

Do we really need to drag Rick Gates into this with his criminal record? This was almost surely taped during the Mueller investigation; and Gates pleaded guilty on two charges (providing false statements and criminal conspiracy against the United States) and agreed to testify against Roger Stone and Gregory Craig.

Rick Gates (political consultant) - Wikipedia

In December 2019, Federal prosecutors said they would not oppose a sentence of probation, citing his "extraordinary assistance" in cases that led to the convictions of associates of President Donald Trump, even after receiving "pressure not to cooperate ... including assurances of monetary assistance."

On December 17, 2019, Gates was sentenced to three years of probation, 45 days in jail, and 300 hours of community service. He was also ordered to pay a $20,000 fine. The judge took into account years of financial crimes and deception that continued even after he had agreed to plead guilty and cooperate. Gates accepted responsibility and said "I greatly regret the mistakes I have made." before being sentenced.
Maybe Trump should have helped Gates pay his lawyers' bill rather than mere assurances.

As for OAN? I don't know who's really behind it. Their track record at reporting real news is abysmal at best. You can read about their horrible record at Wikipedia: One America News Network - Wikipedia I find it incredible that they recycled old news about Gates said earlier as if he'd say the same thing today. I hope Gates was sincere when he apologized for the mistakes he made. It is sad that someone would continue to market stuff like this after he said he regretted things. I don't mind it that Gates got off with mostly probation since I believe he was genuinely sorry.

I'll have to look into this, but you do know that you can't believe everything you read on Wikipedia, right??

@bukka I see that you ignored the question from @Grailhunter in post #358. I was looking forward to hearing your answer.

I thought, Prayer Warrior, that you didn't want me to deviate from the Biden emails. I thought I'd postpone it because what Giuliano has recently posted. He's onto the documentation of the issue. He'll ferret out the information, which he's very good at. I'll also need to look at some law books that I have as well. I'm not a lawyer, but I'll need to look at the rules of evidence as they apply to this case.

If legal documentation has been mischaracterized regarding something else, I think that it's very possibly a crime.

I think it would be illegal, Giuliano, because it involves the falsification of a subpoena to characterize it for an unrelated and alleged case. It is true that the document itself would not be falsified, but its legal character in its own right had been falsified. The documentation, if falsified in this manner could not be defended in court because it would be perjury. I'm wondering if a de facto perjury has already occurred in a possible false characterization of court documentation. We shall see about this.
I honestly don't know what to think.
I think that you're right on this. Why blank out the name on the subpoena? I think that the general public is being played in a deception. I suppose lawyers are looking at this right now. This may be a political stunt that may have legal consequences for the perpetuators.
The FBI may be looking at it too. You can tell something about who received it by how many letters got blacked out. That would provide clues about how long the lines containing the name and address were. If the date is correct, it should be easy to match it up with court records issued on December 9, 2019.

I find it hard to believe the story about the FBI receiving the hard drive. That would mean they withheld evidence from the Senate committee investigating the Bidens. I find that highly improbable. That would mean the FBI headed up by someone appointed by Trump withheld evidence from the Republicans Senators digging for dirt. Who in the FBI would risk his career as well as face criminal charges himself to protect Joe Biden? I can't see it.

I agree. There may be a lot more to this to make the Biden emails questionable.
Yes, and it could drag on well into next year.

They provide the sources they base their articles on.

I cannot state for a fact that OAN is funded by the Russians, but they are well known for downplaying Russian involvement in wrongdoing. From what I've seen, no one knows for sure, but I suspect they are being investigated. If you google "OAN and Russia," you'll see what I mean.

I appreciate it that you're honoring my request, but since Biden is a Democrat, perhaps we could stretch the rules a bit. Of course, if you choose not to answer his question, that's your right.

@bukka I just remembered something Biden said recently--that he IS the Democratic Party.

There's a lot going on with this Biden email story, Giuliano. It's hard to figure. Why would anyone want to mischaracterize, possibly, a court document? Perhaps the court in question will have something to say about that. After all, it is falsifying what a judge may be saying about the matter for the original document could be considered, possibly, a contempt of court.

The FBI may be looking at it too. You can tell something about who received it by how many letters got blacked out. I wonder if reporters and the FBI have already looked at the court records and are sitting on the matter. They maybe waiting until Trump leaves office so that they can pursue action against those individuals if, indeed, laws had been broken.

I suspect that it will. If Trump is directly involved in this, and if it means that he and the others have broken the law, then it will be another legal headache for the master of The Art of the Deal.

One thing for sure is, the Biden emails, are questionable based upon what documentation were seeing. The NY Post story appears flawed at this point. We need to see more to be able to trust it.

It's not necessarily speculation, Prayer Warrior. If the story had been true, this matter would have been brought into court and prosecution begun in 2019. AG Barr would have seen to that promptly since he's Trump's loyal henchman. This would have effectively prevented a Biden Presidential candidacy. Trump was already alarmed at a Biden candidacy at that time.

This is another reason why these Biden emails are questionable.

What can be said is that the emails are highly questionable. There is a great deal that doesn't make sense.

You may have your prophet's hat on and think God revealed the the truth about the matter to you. I don't.

Add to the crazy mix now that a Senator went on Fox and suggested child porn might be involved. And Q sent a message out about it: Intel Drop #4898

Either there is something to it, or a great many Republicans are falling down a rabbit hole into Wonderland. "Curiouser and curiouser."

Well...the FBI has NOT done their job on this.

If it's an elaborate attempt by russia then a security briefing needed to happen.
If it's true then why not say so?
If it's a combination of the two...
Off with everyone's head.

I think, JohnDB, that the FBI might be waiting on this if they've built a court case on this matter. If a prosecution of Rudy Giuliani is involved, the FBI will need to wait until after the election.

They could also be investigating foreign agents. Speaking out now might jeopardize their investigation. Giuliani and pals may have been victims of a Russian hoax for all we know. I think Trump's campaign got bamboozled by the Russians in the last election. I think they would have colluded -- but neither side knew how to collude. Junior admitted they'd accept help from the Russians if they had any to give; but he didn't get any help, so there wasn't any real collusion. And here we go again? Maybe Putin is laughing about it all.

Divulging things now might mean the Russians would get wise and change their phones or do something else to improve their security. Who knows?

We can be sure Putin is laughing, Giuliano. Trump bedeviling America has provided him with much entertainment. And to think it all probably started because Trump wanted another Trump Tower in Moscow.

I'm sure Giuliani had been gulled by the Russians in these Biden emails, but since we still don't know precisely, we have to only assume, at this point, that the Biden emails are questionable. In the end it may prove only to be a Russian disinformation operation.

Yep TRUMP & PUTIN! -- Not HILLARY, or HUNTER, or BIDEN, or the CIA, or the FBI, or OBAMA.

NOPE, -- no need to look there, just look over here because we don't want ANYONE looking over there.

Which do people think is worse, satan or his minions?

What can be said is that the emails are highly questionable.
To the contrary and same thing goes with Hilary....e-mails leave footprints. Laptops and Smart Phones are snapshots of our lives...
And a lot of it has to do if they actually have the laptop...if they have it it is 100% submitting....(Not obtained by illegal search or seizure.) Concerned citizen is a thumbs up by the court...You submit a laptop with child porn to a computer tech and he turns it in...hard evidence.

1. If he bought the laptop on a credit card and or there were extended warranties....more points.
2. If he registered his laptop when it was first booted up....more points
3. If it is his personnel laptop and the operating system or loaded software is in his names...more points.
4. If the e-mails are from his real e-mail account...more points.
5. If the Ukraine e-mails are valid...more points.
6. If he has e-mails to Joe or others members of his family and friends....more points.
7. Schedule software that correlates with actual itinerary....more points.
8. Personal pictures of him and his family and friends and the whole drug thing....more points.
9. Then of course the content of the e-mails....more points.
10. Records of purchases....more points.
11. Of course then there is the possibility of fingerprints....more points

All this can add up to be hard evidence, even over and above eye witnesses.
So no... e-mails are by no means highly questionable.
You could send an e-mail from a library and depending on the circumstance it could be valid evidence.

The problem currently is that the emails are PDF format and missing the key evidence of original pathways and accounts. The keys to authenticity are cut off.

So we need the FBI to either give a security briefing or validation.
