Why do you say that? Are you concerned about being unable to abide by the forum rules?
If you have an issue that you are struggling to understand then start a PM with any staff member and discuss it. We are here to help.:)
I don't think any forum's "forum rules" are compatible with the Bible.

It sounds like you haven't read our forum rules yet.
Let me share them here. Please read them...as you did agree to abide by them when becoming a member.
Forum Terms & Rules
Please take a moment to review these rules detailed below. If you register at Christianity Board, you are providing your assent to these rules.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use Christianity Board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law.

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by Christianity Board, or you have the expressed written permission of the author. Otherwise, please properly cite all articles.

Rules Preamble
Christianity Board’s rules are strictly intended to present a guide for participating in this Christian community in the proper manner. The rules are in place because they offer a safe community for members of all ages, creeds, colors, and backgrounds to communicate as the Church, which is defined as the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12) The forum is only open to those who believe in In this spirit, we know that these rules will not be difficult for the majority of our members to follow as they are based in common law which itself is derived from Biblical law. We do respectfully request that any violations of the below rules are reported to the forum staff. Thank you, in advance, for abiding by these rules and helping to keep Christianity Board both scholarly and a place that will edify our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

By posting at or utilizing any of the features of this forum community, you acknowledge your acceptance of the following forum rules.

Community-Wide Rules
  • No Flaming, Goading or Harassment. All members should be treated with the utmost respect and courtesy at all times following the rules of civil discourse.
  • No insults are allowed. Included in this are all forms of flaming, harassment, and trolling/goading as determined at the discretion of the Christianity Board Team. Trolling/Goading is defined as repeated attempts through the use of images, cartoons, smileys or text that is designed to be explicitly demeaning, patronizing, embarrassing, or otherwise upsetting to a member or group of members in the community.
  • This further includes making false statements or accusations about a member.
  • Sarcasm is not included under this rule.
[*]Do not attack another member's character in any way. Address the post content, not the member's character, family, denominational affiliation or any other subject that may be perceived as a personal attack by the Christianity Board team and is not germane to the topic or post at hand.
[*]Do not state or imply that another member or group of members who have identified themselves as Christian are not Christians. If there is an issue where a member seems to have circumvented the basic tenants of the faith in order to join the community, please privately contact the Christianity Board Team to voice your concern.
[*]If a member requests the cessation of all personal contact, then please respect that member's wish.

[*]Blasphemy will not be tolerated. This forum is intended for a Christian audience. Those who are not of the Christian faith are welcome to sign up but will be relegated to private forum discussion with staff members only. Any derogatory remarks about God (including the Son and Holy Spirit) will be removed. The same goes for remarks about Christianity. Do not hold the Bible to be the Word of God? We are not interested, then.
[*]No Spam. Christianity Board is a place for thoughtful discussion. This means that we are simply not interested in any product or any other solicitation for that matter, including posting across multiple forums. While ultimately under the staff’s discretion, the following are considered spam:
  • Any solicitation for any product or service outside of a member making a post in the IT Christian forum with the required minimum of ten (10) posts achieved.
  • The act of posting multiple topics on the same issue, otherwise known as cross-posting, is not allowed.
  • Posting rather excessive, meaningless short replies outside of the Games Forum. Examples would be posts that simply say “Yes.” Or “I agree” and do not contribute to the actual discussion in meaningful form. It is absolutely fine to acknowledge your agreement, but please refrain from posting single-word replies. If multiple members do this, it begins to take up space and increases clutter.
  • Off-topic posts clearly and deliberately placed in the wrong forum(s) are included.
  • Members who join this forum to solicit/recruit others to boost their own forums either though public posts or private messaging. This is considered as spam and will be removed. Warnings will be given but ultimately that member will be banned if those warnings are not complied with under the "spamming" rules

[*]Do not lie. True Christians will not post rumors or false accusations, one would think that would be a given. However, this is one thing we will not tolerate. Remember that our father hates false balances/scales (Proverbs 11:1). This includes lying about yourself to gain access to forums as well.
[*]No vulgar/obscene language or images. We are mostly adults here, but younger audiences frequent this forum as well. Please refrain from using offensive language in light of this. This is, by far not, just limited to swearing, and includes graphic language or content of sexual nature.
[*]Denominational Posts – Excessive posts either attempting to either push a single denomination (or group) or attacking another denomination are included in this rule.
[*]Respect Privacy. This includes your own. Under no circumstances will you publicly share any correspondences or personal information of any member. On top of that, please do not share your own information publicly on the forum. Aside from attracting spam bots that will inevitably result in inboxes bursting with spam, it is never a good idea to give our personal information. We obviously cannot moderate private messages, but be advised that you never really know who is on the receiving end of that information. Any personal information posted in a topic will be removed.
[*]No illegal activity of any kind. Any kind of illegal activity will not be tolerated. This includes posting porn, roms, warez, stolen music or any other activity which violates United States law.
[*]Respect copyrights. If you draw from others’ work, please cite your sources (reasonably) and provide proper credit.
[*]Do not circumvent forum policies or publicly discuss staff actions. This means that if you are disciplined for violating forum rules, do not circumvent bans or other limitations placed on your account. If you have an issue with action(s) taken by the staff here at Christianity Board, please use the appropriate private channels to conduct your appeal or dissatisfaction. And remember, simply because someone has “Account Disabled” as a tag does not mean that they were banned.

These rules are not that difficult to follow, so no need in pushing the limits. They are only here to make the discussion fair to everyone. Ultimately, violations of the above are at the sole discretion of the staff here at Christianity Board. If you have an issue with one staff member, feel free to contact another or ask to speak to a superior. For the most part, we like to think that we are all pretty reasonable folks.

The consequences of a specific result will depend upon the degree of violation as well as the judged intent. They can result as anything from a warning to a suspension period on to a full ban from the community. It pains us as much as anybody to enforce these rules, so here are a few tips to help you not ever worry about breaking them.
  • Cool it! Christ himself told us that he came to divide (Luke 12:51) because Christianity is such and important and powerful issue. Most all of us want to ultimately do what is right. Keep that in mind and if a topic or person makes you mad, step away from the computer for a bit and pray. Cool down before you post a reply or rebuttal.
  • Demonstrate why you are a Christian. WWJD (What would Jesus do?) is more than just a good catch phrase. What does the Word say? Are you acting like a true Christian? Ask yourself these questions. Christ tore down, but he rebuilt afterward with Truth.
  • It’s not about the last word. A forum is unique in that the entire discussion is arrayed before an audience. There are times when your message is far more powerful when you walk away instead of forcing the issue or trying to get the last jab in for the judges.
Christianity Board should be an enjoyable experience. We realize these rules are verbose, but we ultimately had to write them so folks would play by the rules and understand where the lines exist. This forum is a little different from others in that it tries very hard to be a place of Truth and of scholarly wisdom because our Father, YHVH (Yahveh), has so much to offer us through His Word and His love (John 3:15-16).

I'll have to take your word for it, but that's not what I've seen or have personally experienced on this site since I joined three weeks ago. I have 23 members currently on my ignore list because of either the way they have negatively interacted with me or they said something hateful about other people. I thought Christian Forums was a bad place for Christians, but CF seems tame in comparison. I'm sorry, but that's how I feel.

Christians are not perfect...Converted Christians are perfect-ED IN Christ.

People live in an imperfect world, conversing with imperfect people they do not know and everyone is Right according to the limit of the walk with Christ and limits of their understanding.

Glory to God,
Taken

Who is behind the attacks on our Bible. It is of course Satan. We are not permitted to point it out when Satan clearly attacks our Christian Bible. Satan even used Peter to rebuke Jesus. Jesus immediately pointed it out that Satan was using Peter. Would Jesus be warned here?

In two different threads I asked simple, honest questions and was attacked immediately thereafter.

At times I will not answer a question if it is obviously intended to deflect from the point.

But at other times...a simple question avoided is obvious...embarrassed they don't know the answer...Or to answer Blows their belief apart.

Attacking instead of addressing the question...is to Deflect away from them...
Often I see for one of the two above reasons above.

I don't think Jesus would last a week on any "Christian" forum. He would say things like:

John 8:44 (NKJV)
44 You are of your father the devil,

I have studied and read nearly the entire Bible and you want to know something? The Word is IN YOU....so Satan might try to attack His Word but he will never underestimate it nor deny it. He knows it is powerful....Want to know something else.....His Word is Power....and it manifests when SPOKEN by believers like us.
You work too hard trying to shove His Word down peoples throats.....All you need to do is speak His Word and it will accomplish what He intended for it to do. It will not return to Him void. But what makes His Word Alive and Enticing to others who hear it is when it is spoken in LOVE.
I grew up with the hell, fire and brimstone pastors who were constantly beating the congregation up with their imperfections of their Christian walk...been there done that and my Father spoke to me one day and set me free from condemnation.

You work too hard trying to shove His Word down peoples throats.....
Nearly everybody rejected Jesus and Paul.

I wasn't preaching Hell fire to Christians. I was preaching it to those who deny the "everlasting fire".

I've watched the Bible be attacked by the same people here for months. Attacking some of the most important doctrines in the Bible! Do they get warnings? I don't want you to answer that here, just something to think about.

It is called a debate forum. Learn to debate.
I'm just a newb and in the beginnings of getting my bearings here. I was under the impression this as the majority of Christian forums was one for discussions and not primarily and solely for the purpose of debating. I do know when emotions get into a situation of the subject, then debate can ensue. When this occurs, often is the case they become further escalated into crossing over and result in an argument and disputations.

It's an unfortunate circumstance to be on the sidelines and watch helplessly while two or more get into a catfight, scratching, inflicting wounding bites, and pulling hair out, etc. Is Christianity Board a discussion-oriented forum or for debate? I was hoping more in the area of reaching out to each other in a spirit of friendship and sharing our faith in Christ with an aspect of edification and encouragement of the brethren. This is what fellowshipping in the Lord is for and its foremost reason for gathering together as one. Am I incorrect about this? In quoting the opster. "Just curious."

There are members who do not accept the King James Version....and that is fine. There are many Hebrew and Greek words that had no English version of it....Did you know that God's name Yahweh...was replace in the OT with God or Lord by the translators of the King James Version?
And many words they used in translation were similar to the Hebrew and Greek words but not exactly the same....
And there are many ancient scrolls and historic writings that they did not include because they couldn't verify its authenticity....
What does the Bible say....TEST ALL SCRIPTURE....Test test test....let scripture interpret scripture....test all spirits....test test test.....seek the hidden wisdom of His Truth!

To be honest, I didn't know this site had established rules (similar to CF) when I first joined as a member. In fact, I was fairly certain about this after my first negative interaction with another member. I also read a comment by another member who basically said they could say whatever they wanted to in their posts and not get into trouble for it. However, the link you posted was later shared with me by a staff member.

I was referring to mostly those who reject ALL of our English translations.

Well that certainly depends on what they say....because there is a line that has to be drawn or there would be no order to anything....rules, rules, rules....always in life there are rules to follow....sigh! :D
