All right, guys and gals.....let’s play “ pretend” for a few minutes .....

Let’s pretend that “I” , Blood Bought , am Ruler Of the Universe .As the Guy who calls the shots—- I am making a decree!

For the next 24 hours , everybody who sees this Post is set free to do absolutely ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that they Want to do? Yes Sireee! If you Want to do it— DO IT! It will have absolutely NO EFFECT on your Salvation! Wanna rob a bank ? Wanna “ rape , ravage and plunder?” Do ya just wanna “ let loose” on that Jerk you Work with everyday and can’t stand? Now is the time—- do want you want to do and get a complete pass on losing your Salvation.....
I should make it clear that there is ONE Stipulation on all of this “ fun”.... although your Salvation is not a factor in all of this, you WILL Pay in the “ temperal” sense——if you rob that bank you May go to jail and if you let loose finally on that guy you don’t like, you could be ashamed of yourself later......
Soooooo.....having set up this Scenario....what would you guys Do that was different if we could Sin and “ get away with it” as far as our Salvation and that ONLY is concerned? Would it be “ Head for the hills, Ma Barker ! All “ Hell” is gonna break loose !” .....or........would things not be all that much different .
Anybody out there have a “ Take” on my game of ‘ pretend?” My own Take is it may not be “ Pretend” at all......thanks to anybody who puts in their “ two cents”.....
Nothing would change.
The mature and wise do not sin simply because it is prohibited, but rather because they know why it is prohibited.
God does not make rules capriciously nor tyrannically, but prudently and solicitously.
Therefore, the goal of the Christian is not only to desist sin, but to find pleasure, edification, and dignity in averting sin.

Careful, my friend.....
You are flirting with the “ unpardonable sin” in my Universe....lol.....
Aren't YOU the one who calls people "fool" and wish they will burn in Hell fire?

Matthew 5:22 (NKJV)
22 Whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of hell fire.

What you're doing is leading newbies astray by teaching that grace is the freedom to sin.....

He has never said grace is a license to sin, He actually points to the only Solution for Sins, The Blood Of Jesus

You are the one making the big issue about Sins Without pointing to the Solution, The lost Sin as much as they Want they don't know any different, the ones that care about their sin have a choice to make.... What is the only thing that can fix it, And that is what BloodBought leads Newbies too, A needed and valued opinion

From your posts, you seem not happy with sins and the modern Church, But I haven't seen you post a solution

The central debate in this thread is
  • Is the first such Washing good enough? or
  • Do we keep getting Washed as often as we need to?
That is where it goes back to the old debate of Unconditional vs. Conditional Salvation.

His mistake is saying the blood of Jesus is the solution for willfully, purposely living in your sins and not repenting of them if that's what you so choose to do.

We all know God has our weaknesses covered. That's not abusing the grace of God. That's what the grace of God is for. But you have been saying over and over that we have the freedom to willfully and purposely sin and that grace has that covered. That is the issue. That is the point you keep evading. You abuse the grace of God to your own eternal destruction when you refuse that grace and sin willingly.

Everybody in this Forum has abused the Grace Of God.....every man , woman and child has done “ that” and has also “ sinned Willfully” ......less and less as God Transforms us into “ The Image Of His Son” and we mature as God changes us from the inside out....
We have All done these things and if you don’t realize we are ALL capable of being the best or the worst of Believers at times, you May be shocked someday...
I am not “ evading” anything . You are, though ....you refuse to take God at His Word....You don’t like the Reality Of “ Where Sin abounds— Grace Super abounds” .....in your Carnal mind , you just can’t “ imagine” that a verse like that would Decrease Sin instead of Increasing it! In FACT , it does!
Just because Grace keeps one from being damned when one sins—- that does NOT mean that you ain’t gonna Pay one Hell Of a Price for being a Fool and think you can Sin, use Gods Grace as an excuse to “ get away with it” and go merrily on your way. God ain’t gonna be MOCKED! Sin away! Have a Ball! Then , if you are a Child Of God—. Brace your sorry, stupid ass for the “ whipping” , the “ Chastisement That is going to come your way.Enjoy the “ pleasures of Sin” .They are there. They exist ! The Devil knows it and the Bible admits it ! What God's word goes on to add — that little detail that Satan always omits—- is this......Sin is Fun .....Fun “ for a Season” . It don’t last and if you Fool around with it, especially as a Christian , you may discover the hard way why this is true......The Holy Spirit is alway present with the Believer ....That “ little voice in your head that always says “ NO” to Sin ?
You know as well as I do that we do not always heed the advice of that “ little voice” .....sometimes we “ weak Earthen Vessels” give in to the “ enticing temptations” that James talked about.....as he stated so truthfully... “ We ALL STUMBLE” at times. God already knows this. Why don’t you admit what He already knows .....and ThanK Him for the Remedy He provided for it. The “ Throne Of Grace”. He hates it when you sin , But HE Loves it when you come to Him in your “ time of need .” The “ Bolder” you are when you approach Him, the-better He likes it! He knows that “ Boldness” is in direct proportion in the TRUST you have in the Blood Of His Son.I ain’t got much, but I got that Trust ! What about you? God bless .....

He's got the part about love for others being the motivation to not sin that actually works right. But the poison he adds to that message is saying the 'believer' can refuse the grace of God by purposely and willingly sinning. He rejects John's teaching that the person who does that is not born again. Even though he acknowledges that Hebrews 10:26 is talking about the unbelieving person who rejects the grace of God. He's quite confused.

I have never said, "oh, I'm going to purposely sin right now because I want to, because God's grace covers it". But I can tell you plenty of times I've sinned when I didn't want to but got deceived into doing it anyway. So if you're purposely sinning because you think God's grace covers it, don't project that attitude onto anyone else just because that's your attitude. That's not the attitude of a true believer.

  1. I obey Jesus (Whom I love and Who loves me). I win!
  2. If I disobey Jesus, I get convicted.
  3. I repent, get Washed and go back to #1.
"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me,
for I am gentle and lowly in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
" Matthew 11:29 NKJV

His yoke is easy and His burden is light, but it is still a yoke.
This is doable!

Show us Paul meant you can purposely and willingly sin and God's grace will just keep outpacing it. Paul condemned those who said he was teaching that.

That is where it goes back to the old debate of Unconditional vs. Conditional Salvation.

One time! First off Jesus was not an old testament sacrifice Hebrews 10:1-18 explains quite well

But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God,

John 6:68 You have the words of eternal life. John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

There is no Debate...Who saved you? how are you saved? Who keeps you saved all through The blood of Jesus, What can you possibly contribute When without Jesus we can do nothing! He gets all the glory

Galatians 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

Stumbling is one thing. Purposely and willingly chasing after sin is quite another. You reject God's grace when you purposely choose to sin. God's grace does not cover rejecting God's grace.
