I strongly dislike it. It doesn't sound good, isn't uplifting, and a lot of it sounds demonic. Nope...don't like it even one tiny bit.

@TLHKAJ I think you prefer Bluegrass, right? :)
It depends on the mood I'm in. This morning I woke up wanting to hear some southern gospel. I posted the playlist in my southern gospel thread.
I also enjoy bluegrass gospel, and some.country gospel (though not as much as southern and bluegrass). Probably 75% of the time, I listen to praise and worship type music. I love music that is from the heart ...something from our heart to His. I love singing to Him. He loves it too. :)

Good point to make. The lyrics are important - whether they are Biblical - ; whether the musicians actually commend the message is also v. important.
Being able to understand all the lyrics is also important. Lol
But even more important is spiritual discernment. I've heard enough to know, I don't want to hear more.

Now, I'll show you a couple or few songs I like that don't fit into the categories I named in my previous post.

Here is one my children and I enjoyed a lot and still do. Listen to the lyrics. This is an important message for today!

@TLHKAJ I think you quite like some Christian soft rock, right? if not hard rock...
Most of it, no ...but those are 3 I've found that have really good messages and they don't give me that sense of "yuck" ...evil.

Amen totally agree ....much of it is “music” from the pit!

Farouk seems obsessed with the things of this world ....smoking, tattoo’s, body piercing , music etc etc ...

Hopefully , now that he has made it to the second highest poster on the site , though all these rubbish threads and posts of his...we wont be quite so plagued by them ....but oh , no wait ...he probably wants to overtake Angelina , and be the top poster ...
He’s worked hard enough to get there since he joined ...he hasn’t fooled most of us by his empty posts...

Now Ive said that , I feel much better.
