Putting on the New Man -

"And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him""

1.) """""put off the old man and his deeds."""""

This is the flesh, the deeds are carnal, and you commit them with your body that is being directed by the carnal mind.
This is the "old man"... that is crucified with Christ, that God no longer sees when He looks at you.

You see it. You've lived it. And because of this, many Believers have this idea that God is still looking at your "flesh"..., still has the same perspective of you, that He had before you were born again. And THAT is exactly wrong. And THAT is why so many are "in the flesh", trying to work their way into heaven, even tho God no longer sees your flesh, and only SEES your "new man", that is "in Christ".
And because most of you have not been taught this, you have the wrong perspective of who you are.......
So, when you come to understand that who you are, is who you are NOW = IN CHRIST, IS the REAL YOU....the born again YOU, then you have come into the correct mental alignment with God's perspective of you.
And until you can see this and believe it, you will struggle with your faith and your walk.

now, look at this..

and put on the new man...
= the new man, is the "new creation, in CHRIST"

You put this on.......this means you recognize that you are now eternally existing in a New Kingdom, under new rules, that are strictly related to being born again INTO God Himself.
This is why the NT refers to you as a "child of the LIGHT".
This LIGHT is where you exist now, born again into it.
This is why the NT describes you perfectly as ..'As CHRIST IS, so are YOU , the born again, IN THIS WORLD".
So, until you see all this.....Until you understand that you are all this.....you will continue to try to play Christianity in your flesh, as self effort fails.

2.) """""which is renewed in knowledge..""""

So, what is that?
What is renewed? "in Knowledge"...

Now notice something carefully, Saint.
Notice that the verse says the NEW man is renewed.. "which".....
Notice it says "which".... and that is because the new man, in this context, (Spiritual renewal) is the born gain 'New Man"......so "which" means= the Spiritual .... not the flesh, not the body....but rather the NEW CREATION "IN Christ".

then the verse says "after" the IMAGE of him....

Now, think...... remember in Genesis 1, that God made us (Adam) in= His IMAGE?
This means God's LIKENESS, or the Same Nature.... Spiritually Speaking.
See, God the Father has no body, so, His Likness, is not a body, its a Nature, its a HOLY Nature... Its LIGHT. Its RIGHTEOUSNESS.

This is why the verse says...."Which"......as the Which that is RENEWED is the Spiritual Being, or the Living Image of God...that is now your NEW MAN...the born again Spirit.....that is "incorruptible".

3.) So, "renewed in Knowledge"= is the "Mind of Christ", and that is why your NT says you are to '"RENEW your Mind".... as that verse is connected to "after the Image of Him". "HIM" is God's Nature, or God's Likeness, or the Righteousness of God.
As explained in the verse as.....>"AFTER the IMAGE of HIM, who Created him"...
So, that is your Born again New Man.
The NT says you are now a SON of GOD.. So, that means you are birthed as a Part of God Himself, which is why He is now become your FATHER.
God who is "A" Spirit, is now your Father, both literally and Spiritually.

So, this verse uses the word "after", in the same context as Genesis uses this word that explains "after its kind".
Each of God's Creations is always created fully formed, fully mature, fully developed.
Our born again "new creation" in Christ Spirit is birthed completed in "His Likeness", or, as the exact same Righteousness and Light.

4.) What does all this mean?

This verse is telling you 2 main things..
Its telling you that the old sinful man of flesh, that was "sin purged" by the Blood Of Jesus, is gone,... and you are to understand that its "put off" by this purging and blood atonement and to understand this, is how you "put it off".
Paul says to "reckon it dead"..your "old man" ... within your >KNOWLEDGE<, = in your MIND.

5.) THEN, you have a new Knowledge, which is a NEW MIND.....that you received as a result of being born again.......this is the "mind of Christ" that is the KNOWLEDGE RENEWED, in the Verse....
Saint, where is knowledge found? Its found in the MIND, in the understanding and in this case, its within your Spiritual EYES or your Inner understanding.
And this is all SPIRITUAL, and you have to SEE it that way, within your spiritual understanding.
Most believers do not exist in this mind......they instead exist in the carnal mind that is trying to SEE the things of God, with the Natural man understanding.
Thats a fail.

6.) The 2nd part of the verse is explaining to you that you have been remade AFTER the Image of God, again.
This is your Born Again Spirit, that is incorruptible.....that is "One with God and Christ".... which has been returned to 1st Adam State, or "after the IMAGE".....
That Image, is what Adam'a Spiritual Condition was before he lost it, and fell.

So, Salvation, is being uniquely explained in this wonderful verse.

ITs telling you the old man is gone, and to put that away (mentally)..... and you have a New Mind that is created born again = AFTER the image of God, which would be the Mind of Christ that is where you are to exist, mentally.
That is your "renewed" part, that is the result of your Spirit being Born again.

So, this renewed Part, this Mind of Christ, can be blinded,.... yet, the born again Spirit cannot be un-born again.
You can "fall from Grace" and live in the Carnal mind of the flesh, yet, the born again part of you, that is recreated as the NEW MAN, will always remain incorruptible, as that part is become eternally connected to God's own Spirit.

7.) It is up to you, to learn to walk in this renewed mind, which is to "walk in the Light, as Jesus is in the Light".
This.... "in the Light" is the Light of Right Understanding, the renewed MIND... and the place of inner peace with God.
When you exit there, you are in the right mind. = Right Believing.
Understand that God didnt just give your Spirit a new birth....He also gave you a renewed MIND....
But you have to live there, you have to exist IN there, or you will live in your carnal mind, and when you that, you will sin and confess and fail, and think carnally that this is the way it goes if you are a Christian.
But that is not so.........see, it only goes that way, when you believe wrong, which directs your walk with God to be mostly a confessing and repenting fail.

Part of "working out your salvation" is to understand who you ARE BECOME, "in Christ"...., and to learn to live in this Light, this "renewed mind", the Mind of Christ.

God help you to see it.

Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Tit 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Tit 3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Tit 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

2Co 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
2Co 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
2Co 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Re-new... make new again.. born again..

God is Father, we are FAMILY.
God is Love, and we are found BORN AGAIN in this great love.

Jesus, by His Blood, has restored us into God's Family.
Because we are IN God's Family, we are always at peace with God.
That God is always at peace with us, is just one more eternal blessing created by the Blood of Jesus.

Spiritual Things :

God Himself.
Faith.
The Kingdom of God.
The Born again Spirit.

Notice how you can't see them with your eyes, yet these are the Eternal, while what we can see, smell, touch, feel, and taste, is temporary.
