@FluffyYellowDuck Have you heard also of the term the Renaissance Biker look? It's inspired by an old fashioned look, fluffy collars, etc., which some might find appealing:

They call it:
RENAISSANCE BIKER GOTHIC STEAMPUNK FASHION STYLE

LOL I think it's too much for me, personally. That's would be like having a hot, sticky leather couch wrapped around you full time in the summer. A person could use a whole thing of cornstarch just to get it on. It would attract too much unwanted attention, I think, too...

Those two seem to be having a lot of fun though. I feel too old for that..

@FluffyYellowDuck Thanks for comment; I saw the phrase Renaissance biker, anyway; kind of reminded me of re-enactment. (I suppose the point of Renaissance Biker is that floppy dresses and bikers just don't go together. You may not indeed be into biker stuff at all, although these days when a group of bikers rolls up at an Interstate Cracker Barrel parking lot, it may as likely be a group of pastors' and deacons' wives on a weekend sisterhood outing, as it would be a group of hippy marijuana enthusiasts on a fleet of Harleys.) So I guess I don't have a problem with dressing appropriately for biking.

Did you see the other video also inspired by Victoriana; Steampunk Victoriana?

Did you see the finished christmas one my friend and I wrote? :)

@April_Rose
I'm not sure I have read the "started" part, lol! I just thought this would be right up your alley :)...writing the stories. I tried, honestly I did when we were doing that multi character one when they went camping? I petered out...but I did try

@FluffyYellowDuck (I think you added a bit); Well, I can't comment! I think the people in the Renaissance Biker video from Leviticus Fashions (leviticusfashions.com) are probably about the same age as you (But how do I know?), but like I say I can't comment about age.

I've noticed that the whole Renaissance re-enactment scene and Victoriana style inspiration have grown a lot in recent years. (You've probably noticed, too...)

It went fine until someone made fun of tongues in it. That is how I felt. Then no one else wrote in it. There was a o reason for thst. It was a touching evangelistic story messed up again by theological differences

Figures :( I did not keep up with it long enough to read that stuff. You gave it a pretty good go though.

My friend and I wrote this other on CF. I like the idea of time limits. The whole world making and everything, I just don't have the time for that. I like short stories

My thing is typoes. I have to go back quite a bit and fix them. Easier to read though to correct at once with hobbit fingers. Plus if I don't get it out, the kids can hop on me. Ive lost messages before. Lol.

@Mayflower Easy to miss at first, aren't they? time and again, I (who have for years considered myself a good speller) have been shocked to go back and see just how make spelling mistakes I made...o_O

I like harassing Farouk about his tattoos and vaping addiction.

He is hyper sensitive about them because he believes that they are going to send him to Hell. So in his mind he wants as many Christians to get them so that he can be spared...as if that's going to work.

Yes it does, you also have to really like writing.
Have you considered writing a “Drabble” (a short story of exactly 100 words)?

Tattoos. Maybe not parlors. Only way Id go to one is with my husband. But the man who did mine was really nice.
@Mayflower Yes, I guess the attraction of the experience is in discovering the inner confidence to go - with someone dear and close giving moral encouragement who will hold one's hand - and have the ink injecting experience, which can actually turn out to be done by someone that is kind and gentle in giving you your desired design.

So you can see how they can be bonding experiences which really grow on ppl, can't you?

@Nancy Many a person who has started the countdown has found it hard - very hard - to keep to 100 words... :)

Best to write more than 100 and edit it down. Long as you have a beginning, middle (meat) and the end. Hopefully with a twist :)
