no Paul did not say I was not sent to baptize
These same "fathers' taught you to believe and trust in water.
See, for you, without water, there is no salvation.
I explained it
But if I have to choose between saint Augustine and Luther or
Baptismal regeneration and faith alone
I choose saint Augustine!
St. AUGUSTINE
“There are three ways in which sins are forgiven: in baptism, in prayer, and in the greater humility of penance; yet God does not forgive sins except to the baptized” (Sermons to Catechumens on the Creed 7:15 [A.D. 395])

Bingo!Obey Christ and Peter! Matt 28:19 and acts 2:38
The 2 are acquired by obeying Acts 2:38.You are refusing to acknowledge 2 things.
1.) THe Cross
2.) The Blood of jesus.
But you can rant about the water, endlessly, we've noticed.
Maybe you should reconsider your faith, as that water is not your savior.
Bingo!
Acts 2:38 is the fulfillment of the Matt 28:19 command!
The 2 are acquired by obeying Acts 2:38.
Repent=death/blood shed(Christ died...we die) .
Water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins=the shed blood of Christ applied as we are buried with Him.
No, the RCC baptizes unrepented infants in the titles.bingo? That’s a catholic statement! Lol
Busted!Christians are not to believe in John's Wate rBaptism that was found in the old Testament.
WE are not in the Old Testament, and Peter was not up to speed yet, in Acts 2.
So, what we do, is obey the Gospel of the Grace of God, which is...."Justification by Faith".. that came from PAUL.
What this means.......Is that God accepts our Faith in Christ to give us "the gift of Righteousness".
This happens, when we are born again...
God saves us with the blood of Jesus, the the Holy Spirit gives us the "new birth", and we are born again into God's Spirit, becoming "ONE with God and Christ", and that is SALVATION.

The Apostles LIVED with Jesus - who TAUGHT them to Baptize.Breadoflife eventually says....."show me a verse where Peter was baptized in water".
There isn't one. = Your reality Check.
Also, this lie that you believe........>"3000 were added to the church in Acts 2, based on water baptism".
Well, what about all who were with Peter, who were speaking in Tongues , and were not water baptized yet?
Jesus told them to go to Jerusalem and WAIT.
He didnt tell them to get water baptized while they were waiting.
Ah..
Now, go and work on those 2 for a while.
Think on them.
Here is a clever idea you might try...... You can say...>"well, it does not say that Peter was not baptized in water before he began preaching"?
Sure you can try that one.
Add that one to whatever nonsense you made up about why the Dying Thief on the Cross was not water baptized.
See, that the thing about water cult theology.
Its so "fluid" regarding its lies.
Yup - this happened at the Protestant Revolt some 500 years ago - and has been happening ever since . . .Egad.
Horrible(your post above), post Apostolic commentary from your celebrity RCC founders that Paul warned the saints of....
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
YOU don't think that they were Baptized because you're a Sola ScripturistThe Apostles LIVED with Jesus - who TAUGHT them to Baptize.
YOU don't think that they were Baptized because you're a Sola Scripturist - which is a self-refuting, anti-Biblical place to be.
EVERY person in that Upper Room on Pentecost was probably already Baptized as well. As for the 3000 people who were Baptized in Jerusalem that day - YOU believe that to be a lie because you make a habit of rejecting God's Word.
You've rejected just about everything He has to say regarding Baptism - so why should this be ANY different?
By the way - did Jesus tell the Apostles to do anything else, like eat or go to the bathroom? If it's not in the Bible - it didn't happen, right??
What a mess you've made of your faith . . .
All Christians including peter are baptized, it is the initiation into the new covenantThe Apostles LIVED with Jesus - who TAUGHT them to Baptize.
