YES! And it actually ought to be group effort in trying to discern what the Spirit is saying. It's the same thing with prophecy (1 Corinthians 14:26-30).
I have zero problems with others participating with me in interpretation. But like with scripture, I get very exacting about it, so many don't want to participate. I'd rather more people interpreted with me, however, because we'd get to the bottom of things more accurately. But I think that starts with at least believing God can and will speak through dreams and visions today. Maybe the fact that so many question that is why so many others dare not speak up.
I don't share my prophecies because, well God shows me visions of things to come and speaks to me. And many have come true, but I get deceived also and some have not. If I ever become sure of a thing, then I will share it.
Once I shared that there was an earthquake coming, and I put it in this forum. Someone mentioned that sometimes earthquake means turmoil. And I had a vision that the road waved up and down from the quake several times. And it was bigger at the end.
I then had 5 staggered medical problems that kept me from my morning walks, but in between I was able to go for walks.
Then I had a back issue and God appeared after crying out for help: Jesus the Christ in vision, and said there is going to be three earthquakes on the northeast tip of Japan. And there appear one after the other three earthquakes (I watched on the realtime USGS earthquake map). And then a forth he said in the southeast, and there it appeared within hours again. And a 5th he showed me a crown off an area just east in the middle. And I waited and nothing, but it was late so I fell asleep and then appeared when I woke up a big one. And when I asked why he was showing me these quakes he said it is a sign of your back problems and that he was building a mountain over there. I took it to mean mountain of salvation.
I didn't understand for a while, then it hit me, look up my meds and see if my back cramps were a side effect. The med I take daily was in fact made in Japan. One of the rare side effects was back pain. So I lowered my dose and guess what, I was then able to get up and out of bed after 3 months of not being able to.
It was a personal revelation. Anyways long story short, I have a-typical cystic fibrosis, and I just had a visit with my university medical specialist. He indicated the back problems could be a combination of the CF and the meds I was taking. So now I have hope and doing much better.
