now do you have a problem with what I write?

Not what you write, it’s the length.

if so prove me wrong? .... by the scriptures, it's just that simple.

I have done just that. But since you have been trained into a philosophy, it’s difficult for you to see the simple truths of scripture.

when people complain about other writing, then they know that they have been reproved, and corrected. when lawyers say, if the FACTS are not on your side attack the character,

I critiqued your writing length, not your character.

in religious terms when you don't know what you're talking, throw every excuse at them ... "EXCEPT THE TRUTH", why that... because you don't know the TRUTH to throw it.

Except the truth”?! This is crazy. I have posted scriptures with brief commentary.

What are you going on about man!

When we stop believing in what saved us as in Heb. 6 and 10, the indwelling Holy Spirit has been humiliated, and has no choice but to leave.
Our "believing" doesn't "keep us saved". We believe, and God gives us rebirth. That rebirth makes us no longer the condemned child of Adam, but makes us the righteous child of God.

There is no "humiliated Holy Spirit leaving". Where does that idea come from? God is much more powerful than you. More loving than we can ever be. And He wants what He wants. What He wants is you.

Much love!

The Holy Spirit does not have to only be in Christ for it to be blasphemy of the Spirit to call Him an unclean spirit. Someone can blaspheme the Holy Spirit as He dwells within a believer, also.
Is there any Scripture about this?

Much love!

I do recall reading that. I forget the term but it is possible to sin but not know it is a sin. This is different from knowing something is a sin and doing it anyway.
I understand about sinning unknowingly.

I was talking about sin being to transfer one's faith to something else.

Much love!

Principle of God, for "SINNERS". God never require a SINNER to confess their sins in order to be saved. no, never, natta, zelch, zero. no, God's requirement of a sinner is to "CONFESS" his Son, JESUS in order to be SAVED.

Acts 19:18
And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.

Nuff’ said.

what did they confess?

now listen, Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

now what about you being "PERFECT" are you "PERFECT" right now? yes or No?

your answer please. ...... :D

You’re in the wrong thread. I replied in the thread you asked this question in.

It's not taken as in God takes it, they have forfeited it of their own free will.

Precisely.
The Gift of Salvation...is an "OFFERING"
TO...."ALL".
The "OFFERING"."IS"every man's TO Take.
An "OFFERING", requires the individual
TO..."ACCEPT", by "TAKING" the OFFERING.

TO Accept and Take the Offering...
A man MUST...confess "HEARTFUL" belief in the Lord God

There is "a period of time"...for a man OF the World TO HEAR about God...and Confess Heartful Belief IN God.

During that LEARNING TIME "About God"...
That man is being "enlightened"...(HEARING and learning something New...the Lord God, that the man did not before Hear about).

As the man IS hearing...the Word of God...
God IS gifting that man;
Measures of FAITH...
That measure is called "A TASTE" of The effects of Gods Word being Heard by that man.

That man has not received Salvation of his SOUL, he has received a measure of Faith.

If the man Continues Hearing, he continues receiving Faith.
The Continued receiving IS Preparing the man with more and more Faith... until the man's Natural spirit in his natural heart....
IS prepared to CONFESS Heartful Belief, in the Lord God.

AND? If the man STOPS hearing...then What?
He stops Receiving Faith...
And that is called...having Fallen From Faith.

Point being...A man who has Fallen From Faith....was Never Soul Saved.

A man who has Never been Soul Saved...
FORFITS His Gift of Salvation...
BECAUSE the man never Accepted and Took possession of His Offered Gift of Salvation.

In essence...he lost his Salvation, that was Expressly FOR him, because he didn't take the Give that Was Expressly for him.

Some teach...a man RECEIVES his Salvation AND then loses it...Scripture does not teach that.

Once a man has RECEIVED his Salvation...
Nothing "undoes" His having "RECEIVED" his Salvation.

Yes, it does. Scripture indeed teaches that salvation can be lost. This is the meaning of Jesus talking about salt that has lost its flavor or vines that do not produce fruit are meant for the fire.

How do you construe these verses to NOT mean salvation can be lost?

Much love!

It is the scripture that says that if we blaspheme the Son we can have forgiveness, but if we blaspheme the Spirit we have never forgiveness.

Obviously, the Holy Spirit is the Person of the Trinity that if you blaspheme Him, it is unpardonable.

It only makes sense that the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit whether He is dwelling in Christ, or dwelling in a believer.

Sorry folks, I can't go along with this! I know it's a huge argument but the scripture makes it clear that man can lose his salvation through unbelief, that is, no longer believing in Christ for whatever reason and just walking away from Him.

This is what blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is all about, as we shall see from scripture! The Holy Spirit is humiliated by dwelling in a person who now rejects Christ!

There were some who had accepted Christ as their Saviour but now have gone back to temple worship (Judaism) and renounced Christ. This is what is happening in Hebrews 6.

But before we go there, I would like to say that OSAS came from the Calvinist teaching that the chosen of God cannot resist His grace. They cannot resist receiving it or resist losing it. Therefore they cannot lose their salvation. I intend to prove this is not biblical!

Hebrews 6:4-6

"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame."

As we see here, they were "made partakers of the Holy Spirit" and fell away, in this case, going back to temple worship, thereby rejecting Christ.

They have committed the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and can never be renewed unto repentance. But the thing is, they will never want to be renewed unto repentance in Christ.

So if you are ever concerned that you may have committed the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, that is proof you haven't! You will not be concerned of it because you are no longer concerned about Christ.

sorry but you are biblically wrong.

The blasphemy of the Spirit was a national and not an individual sin and the judgment was carried out in 66-70AD.

1.To say that one can lose their salvation makes god an indian giver! He gives eternal life then takes it back! Actually then it would not be eternal life then would it if it can be taken away again.

2. the saved are called the elect and are known from the foundation of the world! but you would say god would make these elect and then unelect them!

3. That also means that God did not forgive all your sins! God knows past, present and future! If He saved you knowing you would lose that salvation then God didn;t forgive all our sins.

4. Jesus blood is not enough to you! It didn't erase all your sins!

If you wish, I can give you teh flood of verses that show that first off salvation or damnation is not based on sin at all. Once one is saved they are a child of God! they may be a disobedient child, but they are still a child of God.

5. God gives the Holy Spirit as a down payment of things to come. But to you He is there conditionally.

6. God says we are saved by grace through fatih, and not of works. but you say we have to keep doing something .

7. Jesus promised to never leave or forsake His children-But you say He will and He knows it in advance that at some point in the future, One is going to be UN-born again, no longer has eternal life, no longer is a child of God, no longer has eternal life, will perish despite what Jesus said!

8 He pulls us out of heavenly places, He unjustifies us, unglorifies us and stops the process of sanctification.

all this is true and runs against what the Bible say8s if one can lose their salvation!

Salvation RECEIVED can not be lost.
Salvation
OFFERED but Rejected can be lost to the one who Rejected TAKING the OFFERING Jesus Made.

OK, I understand your thinking on this.

The reason I don't think that way is that I don't see it transferable, as I'm not doing the signs and wonders to show I'm the Messiah, and I see this within that context.

Much love!

I didn't read through this but I do not believe in OSAS. Just like I do not believe in the fact that not everybody can be friends forever even though we all say that we will be as children but I don't really see or have friendships with most of them anymore unfortunately. :( I want to stay in a relationship with Jesus forever however, I was just sharing my thoughts and opinions about this is all. :)

How did you come to understand this?
First we need to understand the true nature of salvation: what is it really? Salvation is deliverance from something; and the Bible teaches us that the Jesus followers will be delivered from two aspects of our current reality: 1) sin, and 2) death. In short we will be delivered from the penalty of sin, the inevitability of sin, and eternal damnation. But all of this takes place in the future, which is why the New Testament teaches us that the followers of Jesus live according to the hope of our calling. Salvation is not something we have now; salvation is something for which we hope.

The OSAS debate is moot because there is no such thing as "once saved."

There are literally dozens of verses in the New and Old testament that teach a person can lose their salvation.

Most of you who don't believe it, are not going to believe it if someone shows you a hundred.

Take Rev. 22:19 for example, their are several of you who will try and explain this away when there is no doubt whatsoever as to what this verse is saying. But that will not stop you, you will make a fool of yourself to say it's not true!

"And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

How can a person be taken out of the book of life if he is not in the book of life?

It will not serve any purpose for me to show you 20, 30, or 40 more just like it!

What if I were to show you something?

Here is a place where God tells us how He goes about this:

Exodus 32:31-33 KJV
31) And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
32) Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
33) And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

The one who sins is blotted from His book. And this book is already written.

God wrote in a book all the names of the living, all who would be born out of His creation of Adam. Sinners are blotted from the book.

Much love!
