Every time the issue of gay marriage has been put to a vote by the people, the people have voted to uphold traditional marriage. Even in California. In fact, the amendment passed in North Carolina on Tuesday by a wider margin (61-39) than a similar measure passed six years ago in Virginia (57-42). The amendment passed in North Carolina, a swing state Obama carried in 2008, by 22 percentage points. We should not think that gay marriage in all the land is a foregone conclusion. To date 30 states have constitutionally defined marriage as between a man and a woman.

I remember watching a perverted video of a sodomite stating there are only 3 unique verses against sodomy (other verses reference these unique 3).

The sodomite was portrayed as thoughtfully questioning the moral opposition and made an Appeal to Numbers. There are fewer verses than one would think. So, therefore sodomy is not that bad the reasoning of the video went.

It was a well down piece of deception, perverted I call it.

That sounds like it shows quite a lack of reverence for God.

The term "gay" is not what the Bible calls these relationships. The correct term is "homosexual". The Bible is very clear that ALL such relationships are sinful, and therefore wrong. God created Adam and Eve, and told them to multiply and this is through the union of a man and woman in marriage. In fact, the Bible is very clear that no human being can ever be "born" homosexual. In Romans chapter 1, Paul speaks of the man and woman leaving their "natural" desire for each other, and going with the same sex instead. The word "natural" is from the Greek "φυσικός", which means, "natural, produced or caused by nature, inborn", which tells us that ALL humans are born with an inbuilt desire for the opposite sex. God has made sure of this, which is why He says that homosexuality is wrong and sinful. If any human being could be "born" homosexual, then God could not justly punish them for this, as it is part of their DNA. God is a God of Justice.

* I could care less if two people of the same gender want to engage in sexual acts.
* I could care less if two people of the same gender want LEGAL rights for having or disposing of JOINT PARTNERSHIP property....
* I DO CARE ... they WANT TO HIJACK a Sacred Tradition and call their PARTERNERSHIP a MARRIAGE, that is EXPRESSLY a HOLY UNION instituted BY GOD.

* I DO CARE ... that people, WHO PRETEND they are "CONVERTED", YET promote, go along with, such an egregious act of TURNING the TRUTH INTO A LIE, being AGAINST the Word of God.

* I KNOW WHY, they go along...not a big surprise.
THEY are given an "Ultimatum"; AGREE, or their loved one will CUT OFF A RELATIONSHIP "with them."

* The one "fearing to be CUT OFF" having a relationship with their LOVED ONE....simply isn't smart enough, to reject the "ultimatum", and "devise a Compromise".

* So really? What do Homosexuals REALLY WANT? To have A LEGAL PARTNERSHIP, that affords them the SAME LEGAL RIGHTS "AS A" MARRIED COUPLE?
Or...TURN the TRUTH into a LIE, that "MARRIAGE" is a HOLY union between a man and a woman?

so you don't care if people in the world openly sin, and live lives that are clearly against the teaching of the Holy Bible? Is this how God wants us to be, not caring whether people live lives of wickedness and sin? You must have a different Bible to mine.

That's an interesting question, one that I [basically] thought myself. I'm interested in Taken's response.

But then, Taken said they could care less, implying that they do care. If you can care less, then you're on the spectrum of caring. If you don't care at all, then you can't care less.

I have come to understand a lot about why God created male and female... husband and wife, and the family unit ...as a representation of the image of God. (I hope my friend @Jostler sees this, as he has some amazing insights into this.)

But I can't rule out the possibility of ones being ...or feeling as though they were "born this way." It was very likely how they were bent from as early as they can remember (though not every "gay" person is the same).

I'm going to step out and be really vulnerable here. This is not easy!!
I have shared before that I was born into SRA (satanic ritual abuse) and MK Ultra (governmental trauma based mind control). That being the case, I was subjected to trauma in the womb for the purpose of shattering my mind, so that my programmers (Lt Col Michael Aquino, and others) could take the shattered parts of my mind and mold them for specific jobs/roles to suit their purposes. I was subjected to sexual traumas and abuse my entire life... from infancy. They used parts of me (alter personalities) created through the shattering of trauma ...for sexual purposes. This is called "kitten" or "beta" programming.

As a result of all the sexual trauma by both men and women, my body was programmed to respond ...and any time an adult came close to me (if my guard was down enough), my body interpreted that a certain way ... because it's what I was used to (being used for sex).

But when I came to Christ at age 13, and a woman in the church approached me to hug me ....and my body reacted in a sexual way (she didn't know) ....it disgusted me!! I felt ashamed and satan tried to convince me I was gay. I knew it was a lie. But my body took a long time to learn the difference between clean and safe touch and unsafe/unclean.... even though, I still suffered abuse long after I came to Christ. But this is how "believing a lie" can happen.

But my conclusion is ... satan has worked overtime to wound people and corrupt the image of God represented in man/woman marriage and the family unit.

I have not doubt they were born that way - sinners, like us all. I tend to be especially tempted by other things like anger rather than lust, for instance.
Yes ...and like I mentioned in my previous post, I was born with a shattered mind... alter personalities. That wasn't God's will, but it's reality. Jesus came to undo the works of satan ... to bind up our wounds, bring us to wholeness! :)

Luke 4:18-19 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, ¹⁹ To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

are you saying that people can be born homosexual? If so, then it cannot be considered a sin as the Bible clearly says it is
We are born into sin... all of us are born "fallen." I believe we're all born broken to various degrees ...and that brokenness can be bent in many different ways ...from birth.

being born sinners has nothing to do with being born a homosexual, which Romans 1 says that no human being can be
