    Who Really, Are the Jews?

In Christ Jesus there is no Jew or Gentile. I think it is best for a Christian to ignore anyone's Jewish heritage. Let the world define things like that. Consider the sin of partiality, also: When someone, like Dr. Michael Brown, states he 'is a Jewish believer in Jesus', he is teaching partiality.

I will 'ignore his comments' on other issues. I use the teachings of church fathers, etc. if they seem to agree with the Scriptures; whether they are considered 'saints' in your religion, or people like Calvin or Luther. It is good of you to reply to my comments, but there is not much more to...

So, Jerome was a goofball. But, he did say it rightly about the office of Bishop: not a valid office, only came about because of practicality and tradition; and now it is historical. The early church let the world enter into its polity structure, and now the Church of God is stuck with...

No, he is not, according to Jerome: “The presbyter is the same as the bishop, and before parties had been raised up in religion by the provocations of Satan, the churches were governed by the Senate of the presbyters. But as each one sought to appropriate to himself those whom he had baptized...

    Anti-reformers month

That is an un-Biblical definition of faith. Faith is a free gift of God to His people. You should try it sometime.

If you saw Yeshua, you have no need for saving faith, therefore you cannot be saved. We are justified by belief/faith in the Lord Jesus. We walk by faith, not by sight. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hah. You sound like the Protestants that the Catholic Church complains about, having '45,000 denominations'. Will the real Catholic Church please stand up?

    Anti-reformers month

This is by Jimmy Akin (April,2000 Catholic Answers): "The word anathema is one of the most misunderstood terms in anti-Catholic apologetics. "The more common anathema has the sense of a curse and is applied in the New Testament to a curse by which individuals bind themselves (Acts 23:14), to...

You said: "only cos Protestantism is false doctrine another gospel condemned by holy apostolic authority in the council of Trent" But, there are no more Anathemas in the Catholic Church. So, the 'Protestant gospel' is no longer condemned.

    What is Mariology?

Regarding Canon XXIII, 'let him be anathema' : Since there are no more anathemas in your church this canon seems to lose its authority.

A Closer Look at the Genesis Creation Account

"...but we are not open to those who categorically deny a central tenant of the faith through willful choice." If the Trinity is a 'central tenant' of the faith, why are 'they still here' since they deny the Trinity willfully?

A Closer Look at the Genesis Creation Account

You said: "However......Jesus is not God." This Forum allows you to label yourself as 'Christian', but it is wrong to do so.

    What is Mariology?

Posts #355 and #356 do nothing to prove Apostolic succession. Did you read the quote from Jerome that I posted? He says an Elder is the same as a Bishop, that it is only tradition and not a command of the Lord that the office of Bishop came to be separated from Elder.

In the Catholic Eucharistic celebration, at the words of Consecration when the substance of the bread and wine has been transformed: using only one word; what do you now call the wafer?
