I can think of nothing else for the last couple of days other than that recently some Christians in Nigeria have lost their lives just because they are Christians. I usually read BBC News online and came across this information two days ago. Gun men shot into Deeper Life Christian Church in Kogi state on Monday during a worship service and killed at least 16 members including the Pastor.

I do not live in Nigeria and the only affliation I have with them is that I am part of the Church (as in 'Body of Christ'). I am deeply hurt right now and I believe many other Christians feel the same even though we do not know these people or have any association with Nigeria.

Christians are laying down their lives for the God they love with all their hearts. I know that there are other countries where some Christians are paying the ultimate price for their faith. The consolation is that their death was never in vain. God was there waiting to receive them with open arms.

Please pray for their families, friends, and other Christians who are directly associated with those who lost their lives in Nigeria and in any other countries you know of. Thank you.

Couppy I am praying for you and your family.
i have been there many times. it is dangerous times for people in Nigeria especially around Abuja. It takes great faith to be in any Muslim country because they hate the Lord with a red faced angry fury.

Can you give us an update?
