Thou shalt not commit adultry.
Some one said they never had yet according to the bible Jesus said,
Mat 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
Mat 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
And it goes the other way tooo.

Than there is this,

Rom 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Rom 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

Who is this husband and who is the wife.? The wife is the Jews the husband is the law. Was the law given to the Gentiles?

Rom_2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

Seems not. And again

Rom 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Who is the other man the Jews are to be married too?

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

And who is it that us gentiles , and His bride(the church) to be are married to,?

Christ.

So any one who choose the law. Is committing adultry, for they have chosen another womens husband to whom they where not given.

As it says,

Mat_6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

So it seems some need to choose their husband wisely, for to choose the law you must break the law. Odd isn’t it…

In Matt 5:28 Jesus is making a point separate from the seriousness of the sin of adultery. Namely that we all have sin. Jesus qualifies His statement in Matt 5:28 in Matt 5:32 where He explains that we must not divorce unless there is actual / more then thought sexual immorality / adultery.

Not sure what you are saying further on. Are you proposing that we must not follow His moral laws initially given to the Jews, because we aren't Jews? It also sounds like you are proposing that we cannot marry as we are married to Christ. Or that marrying a previously married person is always adultery. All these insinuations are terribly wrong and unscriptural.

You may do what you like. Seems that many have no comprehension of what Christ has done, nor are they willing to ask Him. But if Christ is not enough for you, than I am sure that you can explain how all he did was worthless, and that you can do better. Seems that many christians think they can.And for all te h"law" keepers it seems tha tboasting of there good works just like this man,

Luk 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
Luk 18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

even knowing that it does them no good. Proud and foolish are men.

There is a sin of adultery that can condemn a person but it isn't adultery in the flesh'. It is Spiritual adultery.

Spiritual adultery is when a person says they have faith in the work of Jesus on the cross and also having faith in their own works.
