The earliest prophecies provide us with an understand of the purpose of Bible prophecy. Simply stated, Bible prophecy is where God deems that certain individuals will physically survive a cataclysmic disaster. A closer exam shows In each case in the past, God provided those individuals with two bits of information. These criteria are: 1. God forewarns those certain individuals of the impending disaster (the prophecy).2. God divinely provides instructions on how to physically escape. The classic example is Noah and the flood. So, when Christ stated: Matthew 24: 37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. …..He was suggesting to us that the future end times will have a similar ending as the parable of Noah. In other words, 1. God is forewarning the body of Christ of an impending disaster (the apocalypse, the anti-Christ and etc.).2. And (what most Christians fail to see) God has divinely provides instructions on how to physically escape.Revelation 12 best describes (in parable form) these survival instructions. Notice that three times (as if to drive the point home) John accurately describes the woman is divinely being protected and fed during the three and a half year Great Tribulation period:1. Verse 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. 2. Verse 14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 3. Verses 15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. Which leads us to the question: who is the woman that delivers the man-child? The problem is that Bible prophecy is designed by God as a parable. It is presented as a word puzzle, not meant for everyone to understand. Thus, the reason why there are many different interpretations. Unfortunately, all the interpretations are not accurate. Only the ones the properly interpret Revelation 12 will have a chance of being alive at the advent of Christ. In Yehoshua,Guy SmithLuke 21:36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Often we find the Biblical record of historical events contradicted by traditional secular scholarship, only to have subsequent archaeological discoveries later vindicate the Biblical historical record.Though the Bible has spoken prophetically of all the major empires of the world, we see that it has most specifically focused on the nation of Israel. In fact, the entire history of Israel is an astonishing testimony to the supernatural origin of the Bible. When we examine the prophetic messages centering around it and see them fulfilled in its history, the Bible’s track record is validated and the providence of God is affirmed over and over.Prophecy is one of the most neglected subjects in the Church today. Understanding prophecy is an essential and fundamental issue for every serious Christian.

It isnt negleted it is just misunderstood because Men didnt understand what God had closed Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. We are now in that End time it started when God reestablished the state of Israel in May 1948 and he tells us that in the parable of the fig tree .... The fore fathers had the command Preach the gospel around the World ... They could not fully understand what God had closed so they did their best and men added their own conclusions but the book was sealed untill God opened it .... God himself has explained it us in scripture We just were not allowed to completley unseal /understand Gods Words untill the time we were met to ...Yet men still insist on following what men said when the book was still closed to them .... They would rather listen to endless babbel of men and hollywood than hear their fathers Words ..... You are right about one thing God does give us examples of how he protects his own .... He gave it to us in Eygpt we call it Passover the Angel of death came into the land ...all those with blood of the Lamb on their door post were protected ... The same way the Blood of Our Lamb, Jesus Christ will protect those who have the blood on the door post of your heart/mind. This is the seal of God that protects you as it was it will be again there is nothing new under the sun (that is on earth) Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new [thing] under the sun.

Isaiah 43:1-5 Is the answer to Rev. 12:14 the woman being removed by God from the water the dragon spews out. The child the woman had is referencing Christ coming through the seed of Judah. The woman is the 12 tribes the one being Judah produced the Christ who is the man child that came in the flesh. Further down Rev 12:17 says her offspring which is us who have the testimony of Christ. Christ came through Judah, out of the Woman and we are the offspring from Christ. Think for a minute and we who have Christ are the only ones who have his testimony of what and who he is. The Jews have denied Christ, they don't have the testimony. When you read Isaiah 43 they are being removed by God as the waters are being spewed out by the dragon, which God defines in verse 2."When you pass through the waters" I will be with you. They are removed right before the entrance of the 8th king also called the Son of Perdition who brings the armies against Jerusalem. If you don't grasp this now, you will very soon for it is ready to happen, with the nations lining up with our President to go against Israel. Everything is falling into place quickly. The books have recently been unsealed and we can all now read the prophecies concerning the End with everything matching up in the verses to tell us all what is going on and with who. But because of doctrines and books written, and people with a mindset from all this it is hard for some to comprehend. But prayer and study will open it up. Vickie

The purpose of Biblical prophecy is to point to Christ, the everlasting Word Of God. Prophecy is meant as a form of correction, as in Noah's day. It also demonstrates the righteousness of God and never provides an escape from His judgment.Prophecy is also used as a form of encouragement, as in reading the last chapter of the book to learn who wins.It is always a path to the heart of God, and not to a bunker where one can be hidden from His hand. The book of Revelation says that in the end times there would be many who would seek such a thing. Will they find it? Never. The only place to hide is in the bosom of the living God after having made peace with Him.

Yes, to be in His presence daily, lifted up in the truth living it towards all men. I found in Jeremiah 8:1-5 speaks of the resurrection of the higher government officials, Scribes that will be looking for shelter from God's wrath when God puts flesh on them from out of the grave only to have them burned to chaff as verse 14 says they will say: "Why are we sitting here? Gather together! Let us flee to the fortified cities and perish there! For the Lord has DOOMED US TO PERISH and given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against HIM. Can one understand that the flesh comes back on only to be burned to chaff? This is the 2nd death described. Verse 20 The harvest is past, the summer has ended, and we are not saved. The harvest is at Christ Coming, the summer has ended and these who have been resurrected and brought back up are not saved. Jeremiah 9:22 The Lord says: There dead bodies of men will lie like refuge on the open field, like cut grain behind the reaper with no one left to GATHER them. Jeremiah is speaking of a time in the near future of Christ coming and the harvest of the earth, the dead raised and those who will not be saved and left to the eternal fire, the second death from what I am gathering here. These are those whom you have referenced I belief, those who will sought death instead of life and will perish for their actions. Vickie
