There are false or twisted teachings that are the literal opposite of these verses, yet most Christians would rather believe their teachers liberal teachings. Some who never study their Bibles but just go to church week after week, never in their life hear that these even exist.

1 John 3:23-24
23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. 24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

1 John 3:5-9
5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6 Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

1 John 5:18
18 We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

John 8:32, 34-36
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” ...
34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

Romans 8:1-9
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Romans 3:
30 since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

Mark 16:16-18
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

John 15:7
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

1 John 3:21-22
21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. 22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

1 John 3:24
24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

2 Peter 1:5-9
5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

Acts 2:38
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Revelation 22:11
11 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

Just to add...that "remission" is translated from the Greek "aphesis" which actually means "freedom". So this concerns freedom from sins....not just forgiveness of sins. In Christ there is a refuge from sin....in holiness.

John 6: 53-54

Jesus said to them, "Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life within you.

Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day.

Peace be with you!

Jesus Told His Disciples (not those who left Him): "MY WORDS ARE SPIRIT, and THEY ARE LIFE".
"What is invisible" , not flesh, not physical blood.
Very very very crucial to , key to, understanding His Word.

"NO PEACE for the WICKED."

Is there someone who does not sin?

Do you claim sinlessness? Or do you think you are not in Christ? Which is true for you?

I'm interested in learning if your theology is consistent within yourself. Or will we find contradictions if we explore this thinking?

Much love!

John, in particular 1st, 2nd and 3rd John, are often refused by 'Christians', or only accepted with "twists" they misconstrue so they can live in sin.

Her posts do self-contradict sometimes, but when it gets to that point, she excuses herself from the thread conversation ,
sometimes with an "I'm tired"/ "It's late" / or "I have to go do something" ...

Her theology is not consistent with Scripture, but she works around that with her own thoughts, in error of course.

Do you really want to admit that this post is true of you?

I already understand that you do not claim sinlessness, so it would be a moot question. I don't claim sinlessness myself.

I'm wondering if there is anyone who does claim that they have reached a state of sinlessness, and if they would be willing to discuss such with me. I don't think that this view agrees with the Bible, and I'd love to explore the matter with someone who does, and who believes that they live without sin.

Much love!

I'm not interested in discussing someone with someone else.

We're you interested in responding personally to my query?

Do you believe you have reached a state of sinlessness?

Much love!

A paradox then.

You say something cannot be,

then ask to talk about it.

Dancing me around the floor?

Who has reached a state of sinlessness? Anyone?

Anyone who will step up and say . . . "I do not sin, at all."

??

Again, you claimed it is impossible, than ask again to talk about it.

Because if the true Christian never sins, then either you never sin, or you are not a true Christian.

It's a simple matter.
