Awwww. You are offended. Did I every say anything about"God who declares he gives us power to tread on Satan /serpents"? Praise God this is so true. How can I step on God's Word when I am the one quoting it... Not like others who are assuming everything they believe. That is why you're so up set.

Christina !!! What the Heck you mean "YOU Guys"!!!Hello?? I agree with what you said. Read the post.Benoni: You do great on some other post, but man brother. You have lost your mind on this one.
Again, it is God who controls good and evil not Satan who is a dog on a leash. Do you really thing God would ordain someone like Satan to control anything?
Who is the god of this World?? Go buy a concordance and start comparing scriptures!!!!
Not he who will excape the fire; but he that will go thought the fire.
How does Satan get involved in this fire?? Stop adding stuff. We all go though the fire. 1Co 3:14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 1Co 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. What we have done will be put to the High standard of the Lord Jesus. Did we do what we were called to do? Did we do our own thing? If we built our works on hay and stubble it gets burned up!!! NO REWARDS!!1Co 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it isNow how do you throw Satan in the Mix???? Brother your misreading and misquoting. Trust me on this. This is not your subject. If this was taught to you by some traditional denomination then run from it. This is the not my fault doctrine. Whatever Happens, then God did it. I know you can do better than this. At least try.Be blessed!!!Jesus Is Lord.

Who is the god of this World?? Go buy a concordance and start comparing scriptures!!!! How do you bracket off different subjects.I have a concordance and lets look at scripture. Yes Satan is the god of the earth; but GOD is God of the earth. There are plenty more scriptures; I stopped but here is my point; but there is no doubt that the earth is God earth. You are right he is not the god of this earth; but He is God of all the earth Numbers 14:21But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD1 Chronicles 29:11Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.Psalm 2:7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. 8Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. 9Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.Psalm 24: 1The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.Psalm 46:10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.Psalm 47:2For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. The Psalmist David was perceptive in the Spirit when he wrote these immortal words, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein” (Ps. 24:1). Does the earth belong to the devil? Does the world belong to the devil? Do they that dwell in the world belong to the devil? Does anything on the earth belong to the devil? Did any of it, even before Calvary, belong to the devil? Not in David’s day, it didn’t! “The earth is the Lord’s!” “And the fullness thereof!” “The world is the Lord’s!” “And they that dwell therein!” Who do you belong to? Who do the nations belong to? Who do the wicked belong to? IT IS ALL THE LORD’S! The devil doesn’t own one square inch of it, nor does he own one poor wretched human on it. God created the devil as a manslayer and a murderer from the devils beginning. Not just a tree or two, not just a mountain or two, not just a nation or two, not just the church, but all the earth is the Lord’s and the very fullness thereof. We are His whether we know it or not, we are His whether we like it or not, whether we desire to serve Him, or whether we are presently in rebellion against His will. God has everything and - 4 - everyone in the palm of His almighty hand! He is Sovereign! Job said, “In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath (spirit) of all mankind” (Job 12:10). The prophet Daniel penned these inspired words: “The Most High…liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, What doest Thou?” (Dan. 4:34-35). God is saying to us that He is sovereign. Another way to express that truth is: God owns the earth and everything in it — He does what He wants to do and nobody can stop Him from doing it.

First of God is soverign and I do not believe in any system of man made religion or traditional denomination.Yes what ever happens God is on control of all things; if He isn't then He is a god. Be is Satan who God created; be it the fall of all creation it is God who ordained it; evil/ calmitiy it is all God who controls the interplay of all good and evil. God not Satan is the Alpha and the Omega and every Greek letter in between.

Have you ever heard of the left hand of God; and if you have what does it mean?So what you are saying to me, is you believe in a Satan who a almight God of all things cannot and will not control ; to include all evil that dwarfs God’s omnipotence. An Evil so great that God far out reaches the sovereign hand; God is just helpless is this area evil in othe world. So according to what you are telling me God s is not omnipotent when it comes to the control of all evil, really not virtually unlimited authority or influence; because God's limited authority cannot deal with something He did not plan or ordain; so He can only allow? Nor could God be omniscience all knowledge is dwarfed by evil; evil is just too evil for God to face. Satan is the one with the real power and all God could hope to do is save only a few? Or perhaps God is not omniscient, meaning having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight possessed of universal or complete knowledge. He was just so unaware of Satan that effected all humanity; BILLIONS; God just did not know or see this coming?? That Devil has just gotten too big and evil more powerful then God’s good? Please show me in scripture if any of this is true; is this something I am imaging you are saying? Lets not forget what God’s Word says about evil?Exodus 4:21And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.It was God not Satan who hardened God’s heart; in fact six times was not enough to accomplish God’s glory so he did it seven times.Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.Calamite or evil same thing.Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? (KJV)God is not blaming Satan in God's Word.1 Sam 16:15 And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.16

Benoni- No, God does not control evil. He only gives "authority" to satan or keeps it from him to do things in this world or to us. But, Brother Mike is right, its God who declares Satan is the god of this world. But, God gave man dominion over the Earth, which allowed man the choice who to have authority over them and the earth. They chose Satan over God. God has "prophecied" how all things will go, for He is "All Knowing", where Satan is not. Even so, God needs someone on earth to belong to and follow Him as well, to gain authority to act in our lives or for us too. Since man acted upon Satan's beliefs to bring sin and death into this world, we must now also, act upon God's Word and seek Him to give Him authority to act in our lives or for us. Right now, God is limited how far He can act upon this Earth or in our lives. We are not God's "puppets" and He is not a "puppeteer". This is why, it isn't until Jesus Christ returns bodily to the Earth, where He carries the title of "King of Kings and Lord of Lords" on His thigh, to set up His Millenial Reign, here on earth, that they will have full control over all things again. Until then, they are not Kings or Lords over this Earth. God is "Creator" of all things, but as of yet, not "King or Lord" of it until that Prophecy is fulfilled. 2nd- Lucifer and satan are one in the same. Why? Early Church Leaders show how the Ezek. and Isa. descriptions of Lucifer, show how he turned against God, to try and dethrone Him and take over control. As a result, the two factions faught and lucifer lost with his hordes and they left God's Domain- (3rd Heaven). (Jude 6). So, they explain because of the sin of pride, Lucifer became Satan, because even still today, Satan/Lucifer intends to dethrone God somehow. This is clearly prophecied once Satan possesses the anti-christ in the Trib Period, to eventually sit upon the Throne in the Jerusalem Temple, claiming himself god. If pay close attention to the old Heb. words used and thier definition you'd find it describes Lucifer's pride perfectly. Why? 7853- Satam- adversary, adversaries, opposers to God. 7854- Satan- a spirit being who opposes God. now, what does this describe? A certain fallen Angel who wanted to be like the most High"? YUP. And old ancient texts prove, by definition, these words also included- "Lucifer, the Devil, Satan, fallen Angels, fallen ones, principalities of Darkness," etc. Question that? Go look in the old original Jewish Encyclopedia of the Bible called- "Judaica" and you'll find the same definitions. to top it off, go get old Concordances that date back to the 1930s-40s and you'll see more of the old original Hebrew words used and thier definitions being the same as I covered. I've got copies of Concordances that go back that far, as well as for my 1950s KJV Bible and others still. The newer ones nor the ones on the internet give old original Hebrew words and definitions. They only give later changed words and thier definitions. Going by the newer ones or those found on the internet are only good, so far as they speak truth, compared to ancient original words and thier meanings. Past that, they are worthless. Num. 14:21- "and the earth SHALL BE filled..." (Yes, "shall be" which means- some day it will be filled). I Chron. 29:11- All is his- (God's). Yes, but only by Creation standards, not by "Ownership" standards. Otherwise, God would not declare Himself, that Satan is the god of this world and prince of the air. Ps. 2:71- Yes as an "inheritance", again, something to be gained in the future, but not existing right now. Plus, you need to study Hebrew more. Why? there are two ancient Hebrew languages, of which one was written and developed before the captivity of Jews by the Egyptians, then a newly restored Hebrew language rebuilt after the Exodus. Each have slight changes between them. Ps. 24:1- "The Earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof." Yes, by Creation Standards, but again, not by "ownership" standards as yet. Ps. 46:10- Again with the- "I will be", "I will be"- (future tense). Ps. 47:2- "great King over all the earth." Again, by "Creation" standards, not "ownership" standards. Your wrong. the Devil does "own" parts of the Earth, or he could not have offered the Earthly Kingdoms to Christ to Lord over, if Jesus would bow to him/Satan during christ's temptation. You need some lessons in understanding God's word my friend, because you are not capturing God's Truth. Your missing it. "whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, from generation to generation- "inheritance" again. Sovereign- yes, by "Creative standards not by ownership. You need to remember, god gave "dominion" to man over the earth. And God had dominion over man and the earth as long as man stayed listening to and following God. But, that all changed, once man fell to satan's deceptions, listened to him and followed his teachings instead. Thats why some are wrong in believing Christ won the war against satan also, by overcoming death by sin thru his sacrifice and ressurrection. but, He did not. Why? But, people forget, a war is not over, till all battles are won and war is finished. But we still battle Satan today, and souls are still being lost from God, over to Satan. And God declares, those who are not of Him, are of the Devil/Satan. So, the majority of the world's population are still to Satan, with the war going on still for those lost souls. so too, God may have some authority over us and this world by virtue of being its Creator, but can only interact with this world by virtue of our seeking His authority to do so. Otherwise, theres no need to pray, since He declares He knows our needs even before asking Him for them. As saved and reborn christians, we've already, thru Salvation been adopted by God, therefore automatically He has authority to act within our lives, etc. Remember also, it was declared in the Gospels, how some places Jesus went, few if any miracles were done by Him, because of people's lack of belief. So don't tell me God has full authority as Lord or King over the Earth as yet. But, as He states clearly, in the future He will. God Bless!!

So what you are saying is God has lost all control NOW to Satan and there is nothing God can do about it? Is God dead to you now? I mean Satan is in control according to your'e belief here? You said “But, God gave man dominion over the Earth, which allowed man the choice who to have authority over them and the earth. They choose Satan over God” I have addressed this before no where can man choose Godwho has authority over men and the earth; please chapter and verse; to the contrary. Man is dead spiritually and cannot choose God until God draws him quicken him. Man carnal nature rejects God; it is called the curse; carnal man cannot choose believing for he is spiritually dead.Romans 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Romans 3:11 (AMP) No one understands [no one intelligently discerns or comprehends]; no one seeks out God. Romans 3:11 (NCV) 11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who looks to God for help. Romans 3:9 (MSG) So where does that put us? Do we Jews get a better break than the others? Not really. Basically, all of us, whether insiders or outsiders, start out in identical conditions, which is to say that we all start out as sinners. Scripture leaves no doubt about it: There's nobody living right, not even one, nobody who knows the score, nobody alert for God. They've all taken the wrong turn; they've all wandered down blind alleys. No one's living right; I can't find a single one. Their throats are gaping graves, their tongues slick as mudslides. Every word they speak is tinged with poison. They open their mouths and pollute the air. They race for the honor of sinner-of-the-year, litter the land with heartbreak and ruin, Don't know the first thing about living with others. They never give God the time of day. This makes it clear, doesn't it, that whatever is written in these Scriptures is not what God says about others but to us to whom these Scriptures were addressed in the first place! And it's clear enough, isn't it, that we're sinners, every one of us, in the same sinking boat with everybody else? Our involvement with God's revelation doesn't put us right with God. What it does is force us to face our complicity in everyone else's sin. Adam did not cause the fall it as God; Adam had no choice Romans 8:20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, (NLT) Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, 21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.(NASB) 20For the creation (A)was subjected to (B)futility, not willingly, but (C)because of Him who subjected it, [a]in hope 21that (D)the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. (NIRV) Romans 8: 20 The created world was bound to fail. But that was not the result of its own choice. It was planned that way by the One who made it. God planned 21 to set the created world free. He didn't want it to rot away completely. Instead, he wanted it to have the same glorious freedom that his children haveAdam had no choice and we have no choice.

No, God does not control evil. He only gives "authority" to satan or keeps it from him to do things in this world or to us.What is the difference between controling evil and giving someone authority; same spin on words.Job 1:8 And the LORD said to Satan, "Have you(N) considered my(O) servant Job , that there is none like him on the earth,(P) a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?" 9Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "Does Job fear God for no reason? 10Have you not put(Q) a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have(R) blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. 11But(S) stretch out your hand and(T) touch all that he has, and he will(U) curse you(V) to your face." 12And the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand." So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.Satan could not even touch Job until GOD gave Satan the authority and control.God is in control of all things; sure He limited what Satan could do; for a reason because God is always in complete control of all things to include Satan. But it was God who was the one who introduced Satan to Job “Have you(N) considered my(O) servant Job”. It was God who took down the hedge from around Job so Satan to do his work on job. It was the process of tribulation and trial God was after; to prove Job.

They chose Satan over God. HOGWASH. Man lost most of that dominion when he fell; go pet a wild tiger. Again you use the word choose; well there is no such verse when it comes to man choosing God or have a freewill to choose God when it comes to salvation; you are pulling this out of thin air.

Look at the end of the Bible where God will have His overcoming sons to rule and reign with. Man did not act on Satan’s belief. Man sinned because it was God’s plan; without a sinner there is no reason for a savior.

Ps. 24:1- "The Earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof." Yes, by Creation Standards, but again, not by "ownership" standards as yet. There is no furure tense in this verse (and they that dwell upon it) you deleted that part of the verse. "ownership" standards " what air did you pull this out of?
