Hello all my praying brothers and sisters out there.
I have a request. My nephew and his wife are pregnant with twins. There was some not great news today as, one side of baby "A's" heart is larger than the other and she will need surgery directly after birth. My niece in-law is due in about 8 weeks.
Please if/when you think about this, pray for both babies, and mom to come through this well. Also, according to my sister, my nephew is mad at God. Don't know why.
Thank you all so much in advance!
In Him always,
Nancy

Heavenly Father, I ask You to heal this precious baby’s heart while in her mother’s womb so that she is born with a perfect heart. I also ask that you work in her father’s heart so that his conflict with You is resolved. Bring hope and peace to this family. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen!

Beautiful, thank you Prayer Warrior,
My nephew's name is Matt, named after one of my brothers. It hurts that he's angry at God to begin with but, he needs God more than ever right now. I do not know where his wife stands in her faith or lack there of. They live in another state and I have only met her a couple times as, when he comes here to visit, she stays home and works. She is an RN.
I trust that God already has His hand in all of this. That He will bring about two beautiful identical twin girls...to spoil :D And, that He soften my nephews heart and that my nephew will repent and call out to God for His healing!
Praises to God, amen!

Right before my second daughter was born, my late husband was in a tizzy with the Lord. I’m not sure why he was, but the Lord promised me that his heart would change with the birth of our daughter. This is exactly what happened (of course).

I pray that both mom and dad will draw close to Jesus and come to know His deep love for them!

Praying Addison and Emerson and their parents as the time of arrival in the light approaches.

Our grandson's wife had our 2nd great-grandchild, a girl on 09-24-2020, by C-section. Mother and baby are home and doing very well indeed. Give God the glory! We've only seen her [Oakley Maurice] once, but she is one beautiful little girl.

For sure, and AMEN! My nephew did a stint in Afghanistan and of course, has PTSD as pretty much all who have had to fight in wars without terms of engagement, uniforms...whole different thing. His mom (my sis) gives him a pass on just about everything, because of his tour in Afghanistan. I pray constantly that God soften his heart and realize that God is the answer to everything.
I cannot thank you all for your prayers, it means so much.

Update on the girls from my nephews wife:

"This one is long.
When I made this page, my primary reason was so that I could quickly and easily update everyone on our girls and be as transparent as possible, good or bad, so that the girls could have an army behind them.
Today, at 29 weeks, we’re calling on that army.
The girls had their echocardiograms today. Baby A has thickening on the right side of her heart with some vein (or ventricle, I can’t remember) flow issues. This is something that is usually seen after Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome is diagnosed. We still haven’t been diagnosed, although we have been teetering on the edge for six weeks. We just haven’t met the criteria yet. Ultimately, as it progresses, the baby with more fluid has to work her heart harder to process the excess.
Because of this, our doctor is concerned that we may be developing TTTS in an unconventional way, and at this point, I am too far gestationally for laser surgery. She sent Baby A’s images to the pediatric cardiologist at Duke University Hospital, two hours away. We should (hopefully) hear their thoughts tomorrow.
I will get another ultrasound Thursday to check their fluids and dopplers for TTTS and to look at Baby A’s heart again. They are making an exception and letting Matt in (for which I am so thankful - these emotional appointments are SO HARD alone). If the scans don’t look good, we will drive straight to Duke afterward for a consult.
Worst case scenario: I deliver at Duke Thursday or Friday, where the girls will stay for a minimum of three weeks before transferring to a NICU closer to home is even an option worth discussing.
Best case scenario: Everything kind of fixes itself, is nothing to worry about, and I might make it to 34 weeks before I have to deliver.
It has been a day, but look at those little faces."

I think this is baby B. :)

Update...God is GOOOOOD! Thank you for the prayers, they have a short ways to go yet, but if God has brought them this far, I will not stop praying that He will allow these 2 little ones to ebnter the world healthy and screaming! Lol.

From my niece in-law:

"GOOD NEWS! Thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts.
The pediatric cardiologists at Duke are not concerned over Baby A’s heart. They are confident that everything will fix itself upon birth. The girls’ fluid levels are the exact same as last week, so no TTTS, either.
Baby A now weighs 2 pounds 15 ounces and is measuring at the 30th percentile. Baby B weighs 2 pounds 8 ounces and is measuring at the 13th percentile.
We’re still not out of the woods, and we won’t be until they are here. But, we made it another week.
Last week our doctor said, “Monochorionic pregnancies are not for the faint of heart. That’s for damn sure.” She could not be more right.
Here’s Baby A with one of her little eyes peeping open. As usual, Baby B was hiding her face.
