    The Holy Trinity

My friend, Jesus can be God without being the Father. The Greek word translated "God" is "Theos" it means dtvine or deity. Jesus is deity (God) , however, He is not the Father (God- Deity)

Why Did Our Father Want Blood Sacrifices?

Hello Miss Hepburn, I will attempt to answer your questions in a logical manner; however, some quoting of Scripture will be necessary to provided evidence of what I say. It is not that God wanted blood. The sacrifices were to show Israel that innocent blood would be shed for sins. The...

How Will It Be In Gods New Kingdom ?

There is not a lot of information about that time, however, we do know that Christ will reign from Jerusalem. I suspect that the Jews will inhabit their land allotments. As for the Gentiles I am not really sure.

    The Holy Trinity

Is it your contention that Jesus and the Father are one and the same being? If this is your contention I think you are going to have some problems with a few Scriptures.

    The Holy Trinity

Sorry friend, but Jesus cannot be the Father, if He were how could He say the Father is greater than I? It would not be a true statement if Jesus was indeed the Father.

    Choice Of Scriptures About Choice.

Acts 26:12-23 ( KJV ) Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the...

Are There Major Differences Between The Hebrew Text And Our Bibles?

Hi Jennifer, I have not read the article, however, to say there was no afterlife understood in the OT is simply not so. Consider these passages. Genesis 13:14-15 ( KJV ) And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where...

    The Devils Believe...are they damned?

The devils mentioned in James believe there is one God, they tremble because they know they are condemned. Matthew 8:28-29 ( KJV ) And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so...

Are The Elect The Only Saved Souls?

Hi Christina, I believe if we look at the Scriptures we will find that only the elect will be saved. However, we must define "the elect". It is not as the Calvinist says when he interprets John 6. John 6 refers to a specific time frame, namely Jesus earthly ministry. The Elect are all of those...

Why do you think faith alone saves us?

My friend, you have some dangerous statements in your post, the one highlighted may be the most dangerous.

Why do you think faith alone saves us?

    Faith alone doesn't save us.

Freewill and Choice have NOTHING to dowith Salvation

Again a metaphor, unless you believe that Christ was slain twice, once before the foundation of the world and again at Calvary. The metaphor implies that God knew what would happen and had planned for it ahead of time. Just because God is sovereign does not mean he causes everything to happen...

    God does not drag all....

Yes, I overlooked these. As I posted above these are metaphors. Paul uses metaphors numerous times in his writings

    God does not drag all....

I didn't say the day of the Lord. Peter said a day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day. If a day is as a thousand years with God and God said in the day you eat of it you shall die, then one can conclude that if Adam died before he was 1000 years old, he died that day.

    God does not drag all....

Romans 86 is a metaphor for walking in the flesh. Walking in the flesh is death and walking in the Spirit is life. Ephesians 2 is also a metaphor. Dead is a metaphor for the condition of the sinner.
