If everyone is being resurrected today in the heavenly realm as preachers at funerals say is this still true?

Question : relates to verse 17-18 of the second letter written to 2 Timothy, Anyone have any insights on these individuals? I do believe that the resurrection happens today, and people do not lay waiting in the grave, but that is a person choice.

    Peoples Choices (Book of Samuel)

God makes a promise to kill Eli's family, when he came to Samuel one night. The Lord called to samuel two times, and Eli realized it was the Lord calling Samuel, so he told him "when you hear your name again, say Speak, your servant is here." And it was so. The Lord came telling Samuel that...

The Spiritual Ladder of a Born-Again Christian

Matthew 5 After having made it on top of the mountain for the moment it seems that Jesus was alone with his disciples, which he began teaching them. (until the crowds started to show up afterwards) Blessed are those who are poor in Spirit - the first step of the spiritual ladder. Being poor in...

1 Corinthians 13:11. When I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.

Belief is just the first step.

Believing in Christ is probably the most easiest thing one can do. Knowing about the history and context is more difficult. It takes time to read, sit and learn as you study. Believing in the first step… because you just exited the realm of unbelief and into faith. However… The next step is to...

Why is the need to study the bible for yourself; important?

Why do would think that the bible is good for study, and what is your reasoning in why someone should do such things? Some people out there can study the bible, but be spiritually dead... Do you need the spirit to help you in your studies as you go along? Trusting; praying and asking God to...

What happens when you start becoming dead to sin?

“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism...

Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

Be honest, what do you believe? Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today? My answer of course is a big solid fat - No. You can't just pretend to believe that God sends people straight to hell and then soften a blow when death comes about. I believe that Yahava, who sent...

Free-will vs No Free-will (God knows everything?)

Does God know everything or does God work through the possibilities that come along? What would you say? Some would say God knows everything from the very beginning, which negates the ability to have free will and everything is predetermined. Do you think God only knows what he wants to know...

Do you accuse people of Sin like the Pharisees did by the law.

Do you accuse people of Sin, - by definition you are a Child of Satan in the figurative sense just as the Pharisees who accused others by the use of the law. Did you know that? Considering that Satan is no longer around - you could possibly figuratively do the same things he did - which...

Don't be so hard on yourself

Listen, I am a sinner. A sinner who has luckily came to the realization that - I am my own worst enemy. Every day, when waking up the voice inside which is from my soul expresses itself. Once saved, always saved is a myth.

Once saved, always saved is a myth. Dont fight about it but explain why or why not? I don’t believe it is viable because of Jesus parable of the sower. Also when Jesus explains you most abide in him. Also when Jesus talks about those who say lord lord let us in. It is just a myth that is a...
