What is a "form" of Godliness?
=Its religion.
=Its a hypocrite.
= Its a false chuch
Notice Paul says..... "having a FORM of Godliness....but denying the power , Thereof "
The POWER ? What is that?....= This is Christianity, the "gift of Salvation" that is the Power of God.
Its how God wants us to understand that God has created an available relationship with Himself. = "Justification BY Faith".
He did it with a CROSS and a BLOODY MESSIAH, and this is Himself.
Paul said....>"the preaching of the CROSS is the POWER of God"....unto salvation.
Now who denies this "power"?
Its everyone who is trying to save themselves, or keep themselves saved, or who teaches a false gospel of Works.
The CROSS is independent of any person's works.
Grace is independent of any person's works.
Going to Heaven is independent of any person's works.
REAL FAITH, that God Accepts to Justify you : "Justification by faith"....is independent of any person's WORKS.
This is one of the reasons that God set up eternal redemption THROUGH a Cross.
Because by doing it this way, no man, no woman, no person, can TRULY take credit for what God did on the Cross....tho they do try.
So, the deniers of God's Cross as THE ONLY POWER that can save, are :
1. All religion
2. All Christian cults that teach, water, or works, or abiding, or the gospel of self effort.
3. Christians who have fallen from Grace, and are now teaching that the Cross, and the Grace of God is a "license to Sin".
