Are you being deliberately obtuse or just playing around? If a person doesn't actually have eternal life but does have the promise thereof and he is not claimed by Jesus when Jesus returns as a believer then Jesus can't give them eternal life. Why is this so difficult for you to comprehend?

We already agreed many posts back now that we have the promise, BUT you keep on trying to change that into HAVING the actual gift of eternal life, which we can't and don't have and is easily proven by the fact that we DIE. You're confusing the promise to receive eternal life when Jesus returns, to actually having eternal life before he returns. The promise is for the future not for now because if it was then Hebrew 9:27 would be a lie.
