One of the most confusing aspects about “christians” and forums like this one and others, is unless a person admits to being an atheist or something similar, everyone freely admits to being saved. Like everyone just knows and has all this assurance of their salvation. And then i come along.
I KNOW i’m not saved. But i find it strange that, am i really the only one who believes in God, yet isnt saved and freely admits it??

@BGR
now, please dont misinterpret what i’m saying, i’m not calling anyone’s salvation into question, nor am i trying to create doubt in anyone. But does anyone believe in false conversions anymore? I guess what i’m asking, is where does everyone get all this assurance from? I have to assume i’m not the only unsaved person on this forum simply because i do believe false conversions are a true pandemic today. Do you find it scary to be able to admit to yourself that you may not be saved? I guess i’d rather know now, rather than find out later on.
Is there anything in the scripture below that you have not done?
Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Have you believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and the God has raised Him from the dead? Then you are saved.
Have you ever confessed Him with your mouth? Then you are saved.
Have you ever called on the name of the Lord to be saved? Then you are saved.
Have you posted that you believed in Him in this forum? Then you ae saved.
Now there is only going on to perfection by living that reconciled relationship with God through Jesus Christ by walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son, looking to the author & finisher of our faith , the Lord Jesus Christ, as our Good Shepherd & Friend, to help us lay aside every weight & sin daily in running that race to be received as a vessel unto honor in His House by the Bridegroom when He comes.
1 John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Hebrews 12:1Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.... 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
False conversions? No man can come to the Son unless the Father draws him per John 6:44 and the Father reveals His Son to even babes so they can believe in Him & be saved per Matthew 11:25-27 so that means our believing in Him is a work of God as manifested by Him John 3:18-21
John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee,
O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. 26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. 27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son,
and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.
John 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Since you believe in Him, that is the Father's work for how you know you are saved, otherwise, you would have continued in unbelief.
John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
