I was naive enough to believe that a Christian forum would be, Christians sharing, believing, lifting each other up, praising God and so on...Each to be able to add to the body by what God has shown them, so we can be knit together...But that is most assuredly NOT what I found.....This reminds me more of like an old Roman Colosseum, being in the middle and a bunch of roaring lions coming at me, to tear me to pieces hahaha, with a few of the other believers here on the forum in this same position.

Sadly this is not the biblical expectation, so I don't expect that on CyB. This is what I expect:

When people in the church are promoting hairy (false doctrine or myths or rejection of the truth), our biblical responsibility is not to cuddle up to them in Christian 'love' but Paul told Titus what he tells us, 'Therefore rebuke them sharply'.

There is a time for love and encouragement, but there is also a time for rebuking false teachings. This also is what a loving parent does with an unruly child. He or she loves the child enough to discipline the child for wrong doing.

:) Who cares what the Lord desires in an internet forum? This is not some church, this is the debate section of the forum. Debates attract roaring lions, like me, coming to rip lies apart into tiny pieces. In a debate, I'm not at liberty to be nice and touchy feely with a belief I oppose.

No, Jesus Christ does not have a beginning. He is the alpha and omega, the first that ever was and the last that ever will be.

(Revelation 22:12-13) "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. {13} I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."

@OzSpen That is only because we lack understanding of His kind of love, and put our human response love in it's place....He is always 100% Love, 100% of the time..He cannot be anything else, as that IS what He is...But to begin to understand that Love, well that's another matter.......It brings to mind Eph 3:17 - 19.
17)...That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith ; that you, being rooted and grounded in Love.
18)...may be able to comprehend with all the saints, what is the width and length and depth and height,
19)...to KNOW the Love of Christ which passes knowledge ; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
I have lost count of how many times Love is mentioned in the Gospels, and yet, most people skip over these, having only come to the human understanding of our best love, such as the love a mother or father has for their new born baby.....and that would indeed be the closest, I believe, we as humans can get....But His Love is much much higher and much purer than that, but cannot be understood unless received first and then to build onto that in and with Him...He is the only one who can, there is not one single human who could do that for us...He is also the only one who facilitates revelation for us, without which the church would be utter chaos, as we also clearly see, because without that Love, all is futile, and so few are willing to leave the false bride, who leads men astray, with their doctrines, traditions and teachings, ALL without Love.....It truly is the time for all believers to :" Come out of her, MY people." and allow ourselves to become whatever Jesus deems for us and each become a 'brick' in His Church ( the true Bride )......

If not, you're bringing me to tears....How could you say such a thing...It all reflects on His Name for goodness sake...I have a friend who after many years has finally come to accept Jesus, and all the resistance I found in her all those years had come about from people just like the ones on this forum, she mistakenly thought that because those people claimed to represent God ( and then seeing how they behaved toward people ), she ( rightly ) didn't want a bar of it, after having all that shoved down her throat, and every legitimate question she'd had, had just been poo pooed by pastors and alike...She ended up believing God to be just a character like Santa Claus or such, because of the way she saw 'christians' living and doing.......Thank God , He didn't give up on her and recently she had a huge breakthrough...Hallelujah ! Our Father is so good to us,,:)

This is not a debate forum for unbelievers, this is a debate for believers only. If you claim to represent God yet I see you spreading garbage, then surely you are just asking for the lion within me to come charging out. I try to be a lot nicer with unbelievers than I am with believers. It is especially believers claiming to "know God" personally that I treat as a special case. I will be holding you to a higher standard for sure.

The new earth is within the kingdom of God, which is within those who are His. Eye has not seen, but the spirit sees; and when we are absent from the body, what the eyes have not seen, we shall then see.

No wonder we are told by Jesus ( as quoted in the bible) " Be careful what you hear.", as in 'be careful what you choose to listen to and pay heed to'.
Today I have seen so clearly how even a little venom coming into us at a time, from those telling us that they are telling us the truth, can hurt us...Little by little this venom can build up until we can become quite 'delirious' from the effects of it.
The only anti venom we have is the TRUE Word of Christ, that which He asked us to 'have ears to hear'....It may take time to hear, but we must show patience ...." Add to your faith, patience ".
The first step of course being, that we believe Him capable of this, which sadly most Christians really do not believe at all...

I don't know any more about heaven than what's written in the Bible. This is a far cry from others claiming to have special Revelation. God demystifies the supernatural, while the classic signature of the "I know God" crew is to do the exact opposite. I'm not naming names, they know who they are.
