The forum is a little bit artificial in nature. Most people don't reveal themselves who they really are. So these can post anonymously without any kind of responsibility. And this causes some to be extravagant in their judgments. They are safe behind their computer screens.

What I find to be difficult is to answer people who are speaking things that are obviously untrue...just not to them.

The forum is public. These aren't private chats. So then the advantage of getting the message OUT THERE...can quickly turn into a mob gathering if the truth rankles too much. And for some that makes the forum more interesting.

My fear is for the weaker ones who come here and see the division and insults being hurled around.

But this is not a church...not a gathering of believers...it is a chat group where people can hammer out what they think Christianity is.

Results will vary! :)

This is good. I appreciate your role here. My role is not expected to be popular by any means. We all have different experiences and capacities/gifts. We can't expect everyone to communicate the same things or the same way. We need to discern the body of Christ. But we also need to discern who is in dire need of help and re-direction. Not everyone here is a teacher or has a body ministry. Opinions fly around willy nilly, and many are so indoctrinated that they say things without any kind of reasoning or biblical support (apart from a faulty interpretation).

The person himself is of no interest to you...just the ideology.....just the propaganda you can virtue signal with. I discern by the Spirit and I don't see others as ministry fodder or people to attack with a preconceived argument.

You could never be a teacher or minister of any kind...way too immature...unless it was a cult or some "exclusive" extremist group. People are easily fooled by the grandstanding....but I know a pretender when I hear one.

The other gospel is what you are promoting...one that has no love or mercy...just an extremist and dogmatic stance that only requires lip service. The "trenches" that you say people should join you in...is actually just a ditch at the side of the road that you need to climb out of and be cleansed from. Maybe listen to my podcast on the "cleansing of the word". It's not dogmatic...but it is edifying to the inner man.

The exclusive club is a cult....that excludes God.

Jesus came to bring a sword. The truth will never be accepted by the majority. To be with Jesus means to take a stand in truth and righteousness. Cursed is he that keeps back his sword from blood. The lukewarm and fence sitters will have no thank from God....quite the opposite.

But you should only do as you feel is right. Not every hill is meant to die on. :)

I am trying to save souls from shame and everlasting condemnation. But the egos just won't fly.

It’s the Bible. Reading our Bibles enables us to rightly divide the word of truth. Test the spirits as we are told by the word of the Lord in 1 John 4:1. Let God be true, but every man a liar, as Romans 3:4 says. It enables us to discern wolves in sheep’s clothing and the true sheep.

Test what I say. @amigo de christo is a true sheep. Sticking to the scriptures. One HAS to BELIEVE on JESUS CHRIST to be saved. Amigo professes that. Epi does not.

Epi repeatedly calls Amigo an extremist for saying you must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved.

I don't think picking sides is a moral issue in this case. I think everyone needs to try to be patient and forgiving and work on being as peaceable as possible. To let insults and judgments go so we can overcome evil with good among us.

Am I anyone that I should say we should value these things even as we "correct" others. Maybe not.

But love is a fruit of the spirit. Love is supposed to be how the world knows we follow Jesus. And no, I really don't think there's a lot of correction being done in love right now. Love is patient and kind....
