Taking one of the heads out for a walk and a breath of fresh air. How can this be sinful?
ALL CHRISTIANS DO THIS................right?

2 Kings 13
21 So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.

Oh yeah, it's all so clear to me now. This verse gives people permission to dig up dead people and put them on display. Why didn't I see that before?
Does the Bible condemn the men for digging up Elisha's grave?
Nope . . .

Don't be content to be so ignorant of the Word of God.
STUDY the Scriptures and learn what they teach . . .

Ummmm, show me a single verse of Scripture that condemns honoring the dead.

No matter what your friends tell you - ignorance is NOT bliss . . .

O Lord God, You created man in Your image, but the Fall darkened its brilliance. By the Incarnation of Your Christ become Man, You restored the image and thus re-established Your Saints in their first dignity. In venerating Your Saints we venerate Your image and likeness. Through them, we glorify You as their archetype.

Show me where it says you can ask them to speak for you.

Truly did Jesus speak of your kind:

"Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you. . (Mt 7:1-2)

And he told us:
“Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot" (Mt 7:6)

Here you go, Einstein:

Rev. 5:8
And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.

This clearly shows those in Heaven taking our prayers to God.

YOUR turn . . .

He ignores them - like his fellow anti-Catholic, Bbyrd009.

When the going gets tough - the ignorant and confused go running . . .

It's a sin because the catholics are teaching that it ok to have activities in the church that include displaying dead bodies and asking them to speak on ones behalf.

BOL has already refuted that in posts #424 and #428.

Who are they asking them to pray for?
Are they asking the person in Heaven - or the dead corpse?

Remember - this question is part interogative and part IQ Test . . .

Boy you sure like the name calling. I put you at about 13 or 14, 15 max.

Nothing in that verse says we are allowed to speak to the dead. Try again.

Who are the people in Heaven being spoken of???
Are they:
a. Robots?
b. Extraterrestrials from Mars?
c. People who were formerly on earth who died and went to Heaven?

The clock is ticking . . .

This isn't scripture.
