Canada could imprison for life for speaking wrong?

Holocaust denial law first appeared on the books in Germany in 1960. The latest legislation as relates to European nations occurred in 2016 in Italy.

1985 Canada. British common law and the false news statute was prosecuted against Ernst Zundel.
He distributed a pamphlet asking if 6 million Jews really did die during the Holocaust.
Juries twice found him guilty but in 1992 that law was deemed unconstitutional.

There are no Holocaust denial laws in America.

Just recently Germany announced their immigration naturalisation test will now include questions regarding their Holocaust denial laws, as well as Germans relationship witb Israel.

I agree too that with the censorship laws Germany is going in the direction of the Nazis. Outlawing freedom to speak implies persecution of free thought that preceded speaking ones mind later if they dare.
