Thank you coreissue.
Help me better understand what you mean.
What are the qualifications to be a born again Saint?
I would like to know who they are so I can mirror their beliefs so I can be a born again saint and not be in a cult.
The belief of no hierarchy beyond the local congregation began 1,500 years after the death of Christ. It has led
Christianity into the mess it is in now. Every "local congregation" thinks they are right and all the other local congregations are wrong about salvation, interpretation of Scripture etc. Has that belief been good or bad for Christianity?
Scripture says we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually
we are members one of another. It also says "we who are many are one body"
and we were all baptized into one body and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.
How can we be members of one of another and made to drink of one Spirit if we are all divided into "local congregations" with opposing doctrines, beliefs, dogmas, practices etc?
I know your not big on substance in your post. You like to spout off as few words as possible and not answer legitimate deep thinking questions. Can you at least TRY to answer my questions from post #689? PLEASE....
