Hello you whoever may be reading this, this was freely made for you to view if you desire, that is total choice this is basically going over Galatians Chapter 5: Verses 1 through 3.

Galatians 5: Verse 1: Standfast therefore in (a) the liberty by which Christ has made us free; and do not be entangled again (b) with a yoke of bondage.

In the first verse of Galatians Chapter 5 you have Paul suggesting after everything that He had previously just had told the Galatians from especially found in (Galatians 4:1-7) about becoming adopted by calling out to God our Father. Being adopted because of Jesus Christ and everything that was promised about Him came through in truth from the promise of the prophets of the Old Testament claimed would come.

You see here that liberty by which Christ has made us free. When you go back and look in (Romans 5; Romans 6:1-18) You can see that people who are believers in Christ Jesus are justified by their faith because of believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. We have scripture from Romans 6 that also talks about being baptized in to the Lord Jesus Christ death ~ by dying to sin by living and raising again with Christ

(Romans 6:11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires. 13Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.).

So because of Jesus Christ as believers who are talked about in Roman saints there in that time, suggest that they should consider their selves to be dead to the power of sin. That means to be cut off from the power of sin as though it were dead. To not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey it desires. verse 13: Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life: (Indicating being brought from spiritual death to new spiritual life by God giving the holy spirit ( Romans 5:1-5; Ephesians 3:16): And present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness. So instead of using your body wickedness such as lying or tricking others or manipulating them, but to use their body for the use of allowing God to work through you by the spirit, if you decide to walk by the spirit and looking towards things that are pure (Philippians 4:8).

So with all of this being said we have one more scripture here to share with you about freedom, that comes from 1 Peter 2:16: Which reads as freeman, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. So again this is freedom in Christ being expressed here but not to use your liberty to feed our flesh but to instead use our liberty as servants of God instead which is far more profitable.

The world itself can not give you what God himself will give to those who love Him. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

So we are still just going over verse 1 here: Galatians 5: Verse 1: Standfast therefore in (a) the liberty by which Christ has made us free; and do not be entangled again (b) with a yoke of bondage.

What is this yoke of bondage?
Galatians 2:3 says And this occured because of false brethern (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus that they might bring us into bondage), to whom we did not even yield submission for even an hour; that the truth might continue on with you.

Paul is talking here to believers talking about false brethern who were coming into disrupt and deceive other people into going back and trying to do thing under the law such as becoming circumcise and observing the law of Moses would actually bring people into bondage and Christ was there to bring forth bring truth and for one to be set free in Christ and not to have bondage. Bondage is not good because it bounds you up and you very limited comparing to being free. So always be on the look out for someone who may not be so supportive towards your ways and remember to love by the liberty of the spirit which God has given to us.

We learn how much liberty is given to believers because of Jesus Christ and what He had done for all people. God gives you the spirit when you believe in the heart. (Romans 5:1-7).

Verse 2: Indeed, I Paul, l say to you ~ That if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.

Verse 3: And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law.

Galatians 3:10 For as many are of the workers of the law are under a curse; for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them."

So from verses 2 and 3 Paul explains that being circumcised does nothing for you, because becoming circumcised makes that person a debtor to the keep the whole law. Which was impossible no one keep the whole law save Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:17). There was people in Acts 15; who came up suggesting that the Circumcision was something to be done ( Act 15:1;5).

And Paul is warning them to not become entrapped into a something that will keep them from growing in Christ because their focus would be the perfection of the flesh and not of growing in faith and trust in Christ. The Law was the TUTOR for the Children of Israel and those who grew up in Jewish background, it was perfect and holy in every single way.

God can not break his Laws that He created, but us as human beings will fail to do so. So there is not sense in looking at our works as seeing ourselves being higher than someone else, because no one is better than the next person. All people are equal in the eyes of God some who have faith, and some people who do not have faith, in my suggestion, if God is not a respecter of persons it would seem that God would treat all people fairly and not with injustice but served righteous judgement of what is appropriate. The bible says that God is not a respecter of persons. (Romans 2:11-16) There were people in that day in age who were under the law, because they were born from Abram who was promised to bring forth a many sons and created many nations (Genesis 22:18).

As Jesus Christ walked around the law had yet to be fulfilled until the law and the prophets were completed by the completion of the Fathers will on earth which was to sacrifice his Sons perfect life as an atonement for mankind because of what happened when Adam had made his choice, along with Eve and her Choice, and the Serpent (Satan some suggest) with his own choice as well. Jesus Christ died for all of the world sin, and to defeated Satan, Sin, Death, Grave and even Hell. Jesus had victory over all of these things above. God resurrected Jesus who became the Be-gotten Son of God. Showing complete victory over death and darkness though darkness now still exist even so.

God equally assigned each of them their enduring trial they would go through; the Serpent would be crushed believe by the seed which would be separate from the Serpents. The Devils seed would be crushed or the separate the eventual historical conclusions of how God worked through man kind after this point is for sure a consideration worth taking. All the way from the beginning, through the working of Nation of Israel, 12 Tribes, and the eventual destruction of Temple in Jerusalem in Ad 70. (Luke 21:1-10).

Anyone trying to put you under bondage and take freedom away from you that comes from having free-will choice to think, form an opinion, question, ask and conversate about anything and everything especially if it is taking you away from having love for God, and loving towards others may God help you in your life that anyone who tries to take away your freedom that you have in a loving kind God who is Love and God is Spirit. (1 John 4:7-21) (John 4:24).

Thank you for your time of reading and consideration,
Matthew G.

Our liberty is freedom from sin. Bondage is slavery to sin. John 8:32-36

John 8:
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

We are no longer sinners, but children of God. 1 John 3:1-9

Doctrines of demons have to do with twisting doctrines about sin, such as "the blood of Jesus covers our sins that we continue to commit so the Father can't see them." If someone were to teach something like that, it would be straight from hell.

The idea that the Law of Moses was bondage is not only false, it is satanic. If that were even remotely true, then why would God tell Israel that it was intention for Him to rescue the other nations from apostasy through this law(Deut. 4:6-8)?

This specious and deceptive doctrine portrays God as being a tyrant who gave people unfair rules and that Christ was some rebellious liberal who came to free people from any moral responsibility, and that is not what the Bible teaches or shows. It suits Satan for religious people to think that is the case, but the "freedom" Christ came to give people was freedom from being held in the bondage that came from violating God's laws. If those laws were bondage, He wouldn't have told His people to REMEMBER the Law of Moses and that this law would be a big part of the end-time Elijah's ministry in Mal. 4.

You’ll have to deal with the scriptures on that one. The freedom Christ came to bring was form being under the bondage of Sin. The law was a tutor to show us how you and me can not keep the law and how we are guilty of it. How you are to do is to look towards Christ who makes us right with God through faith.
