Many of the followers who at first flooded into Counterfeit Revival "power centers" have become disillusioned and have now slipped through the cracks into the kingdom of the cults.

John the Apostle warned, "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world" (1 John 4:1). Yes it is sad to say the least, but it's what the christian religious institution does. Those you mentioned are just a small percentage of the system. Look at the Todd Bentley ordeal and how many other so-called leaders endorsed the thing from the beginning. This is how the carnal christian religious institution operates.

I don't know these preachers. All the preachers I hear - including a seminar with a John G. Lake guy this wkend - all talk about not
being effected by feelings and only stand on the Bible/your faith. In fact, I'm not aware of anyone in my sphere saying what you've said.
Sorry they are out there somewhere.

I'm not sure what is wrong with "esoteric revelations" - I have them all the time. "Reason" is the very thing atheists accuse us of not having.
It doesn't stand to "reason" that a huge stone was removed over night at the tomb - I thought Christianity was based on the supernaural and things that
are not "reasonable" to the carnal mind. Fact to fantasy - many think the Bible is pure metaphor and fantasy - "facts" are hard to prove from 2000 yrs distance - thus we have" faith".
I dunno - I guess I'm not following what you're saying, now that I look closer. Maybe you could clarify.

I could never understand why so many people follow so many preachers in so many different directions.

Neither could Paul in the new testament. These things have been happening for a long time now.
