And you can demonstrate with crappy radiometric dating methods? Why should I bother someone who thinks the bible says the planet is flat? It says no such thing.
It does say the "four corners of the earth", at least implying the earth is flat. :confused

Generally, the more religious one is, the less educated they are. Those who happen to be both educated and religious such as theologians, are largely disingenuous and intellectually dishonest-victims of cognitive dissonance and mental gymnastics. They can easily apply their critical thinking skills to all other forms of magical thinking and religious beliefs separate from their own, but fail to apply the same reasoning to their own beliefs. Now of course religious zealots will mention the commonly over-used and stale argument of the Catholic Church being behind most of the world’s scientific advancements and education, but that in itself is a form of post hoc fallacy. Deconstructing is by no means easy, but this lady has done it here after many years of being a Christian:

In other words,if someone is intelligent they can't be a Christian.

YOU DON'T REALLY THINK ANYONE

I don't think so. John Lennox is a very intelligent Christian.

It has to do with the numerical meaning of things in the Bible.....God is the ultimate mathematician as the preciseness of his creation attests to...there are four main directions...North, South, East and West. Something foursquare has biblical significance.
Four is a number sometimes expressing universalness or foursquareness in symmetry and form. It is found three times at Revelation 7:1. Here the “four angels” (all those in charge of “the four winds,” ready for complete destruction) stood on earth’s “four corners” (they could let loose the winds obliquely or diagonally, and no quarter of the earth would be spared).

The New Jerusalem is “foursquare,” equal in every dimension, being in fact cubical in shape. (Rev 21:16)

Other figurative expressions using the number four are found at Zech 1:18-21; 6:1-3; Rev 9:14-15.

Or perhaps, those who gullibly want to believe radiometric dating methods are the ones without excuse. Especially those who don't want to believe Yahweh or the Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic Bible.
God is old, the universe is old and the earth is old. I'm not sure why it's such an issue for Christians other than the fact young earthers discredit the science and look like fools.

6000 year wouldn't be young by normal standards. The young earthers don't notice that the moon rock was used to find the "decay rates" of other isotopes without isolating them. The same data was used to find all the "decay rates". The "you-earthers" are dumb because they don't notice how lame this is.

I don't take the Flat Earth people seriously. Nor the young Earthers.

The Flat Earth Society supposedly booked a cruise to Antarctica years ago. Their intention was to prove the existence of the ice wall that prevents the continent from sliding off the edge of earth.

They shall continue to be missed. clfh

Really, and the resurgence isn't related to rich people like Soros, eh?
