(the jewish people wanted to fulfill their pleasure in jerusalem, and when that costed them their lives, they stole what they could and ran to babylon...........and when god cut them off spiritually, they took babylonian slaves for pleasure, and ran back to jerusalem, by that time............the jews and jerusalem had no real value, and that was apart of jesus testimony, we will state this on simple terms another way) (they are not the people of god and jerusalem is not important, but to play suicide, 490 years is not counted relative to their heresy with babylon) (BACK TO TOPIC)

The Heresy of Babylon - The Jews are not the People of God

MATTHEW 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David [are] fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon [are] fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ [are] fourteen generations.

David = 490 Year Marker Completed of Daniel 9:24 (Acts 13:20-22)
Christ = 70 Year Marker Completed of Daniel 9:24 (Matthew 18:22)

(God was not involved in the Suicide Pleasure, and no measurement is possible that deals with Daniel 9:24 (and the space between david and jesus)...........the gospel is clear on this issue............when the jewish people are driven and killed off in jerusalem, it may just be satan's pleasure with one classification of dead flesh, the removed tribes in revelation, where Genetic Dan becomes the nations pleasure trophy) (satan may still die dumb and blind, this depends principally on the expression, of that 32/33 year double value in daniel's prophecy that is attributed to King David as the Lion of Judah, since a messiah does not return, or have a kingship)

(Daniel's Prophecy is completed in full with Jesus, the unifier between "jesus and david is the "lion of judah", ascertation, jesus was called the "lamb" by Moses or the law, the written law, thousands of years before he was born and crucifixed that title is "lion of judah" (or priest)................jesus did not have that title when he was born and he does not gain it in the revelation......................that is for Daniel 9:24)

(the unifier between "jesus and moses, or between jesus and the "messiah the prince (joseph, not moses specifically) is JOSEPH", that is also a double value) (that is recorded in daniel's prophecy)

(Joseph is accounted with the tribes in revelation, "messiah the prince", this is a prophecy............Daniel 9:24 is not a prophecy it is completed)

("Joseph the Memorial"...........whatever God wanted to do, or cut spiritually, within the period of a jubilee, is essentially completed from 1948 to 1997 Turin Shroud of Jesus............that one week..............or 2300 days also when the Son of Man is resolved or from the 39th year to the 32nd year, or from 2022 A.D. to 2028 A.D. (33 years of king david's reign before humanities death)

(Everything will be Resolved Soon, there simply is no better answer)

Daniel 9:24-27, Seventy Literal Weeks Explained "Future"?

Daniel's 70 weeks are literal 7 day periods, or 490 literal days.

If Daniel meant 490 years he would have written

(Four Hundred Ninety Years)

Daniel had no restrictions in "Writing" exact numerology as seen below.

Daniel 6:1KJV
It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;

Daniel 8:14KJV
And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

Daniel 12:11KJV
And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Below in Daniel 10:2-3 we see just another example of Daniel's literal weeks, as Daniel mourned and fasted for 3 literal weeks or 21 days.

Daniel 10:2-3KJV
2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

Below in Daniel 9:24-27 we see 70 literal "Future" weeks or 490 days.

When the "Future" call/commandment goes out in Jerusalem to build unto the Jewish Meshiach/Messiah that they wait for (They Denied Jesus Christ) this will start the 7 week period in preparing to build.

62 literal weeks will be in building, and Meshiach/Messiah will be cut off by the armies surrounding Jerusalem, this stops the building.

The 70th literal week will see (The Antichrist) revealed in making a covenant, and in the middle of this literal week he proclaims to be Meshiach/Messiah God to the Jews, and Jesus returned to the apostate church, to start a Millennium on earth.

The 3.5 year tribulation starts at this time.

Daniel 9:24-27KJV
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Since we are being all literal, how about that 1000 literal years, after the literal 490 days?

Daniel 9:24
In the 7 year of Artaxerxes 457 BC, he decreed (Ezra 7:13) that Jerusalem should be rebuilt and restored.49 weeks to rebuild the Temple. and Jerusalem. 62 weeks after that Messiah comes
Daniel 9:25 separates the prophecy as seven weeks and 62 weeks.
“Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;

Daniel 9:26 ' And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;" 31AD
Daniel 9:27 " And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate" Jesus sacrifice was enough--no more sacrifices were necessary.

Why does it have to say that the Messiah will be introduced by baptism But wasn't He? Luke 3:21
"21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased" (27AD)

Mark 1:12-15"
'12 And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel"

What is He talking about here, with respect to time?

Stephen? Well, he was the first martyr, as you probably know. Acts 7, which has his speech he gave before death, condemns Israel. He takes them all the way through their history. Acts 7:51-55 tells of his last words to them, and they stone him. (34AD) The people who were stoning him lay their coats at whose feet?? Saul-soon to be Paul. who delivers the message to the Gentiles
62 weeks is 434 years. 457 minus 434 is 23 BC. Yes the life of Christ happens after 23 BC.

But Daniel's time schedule was up. That is why the religious leaders and even Herod were shocked when the 3 Wisemen showed up. The Jews had given up like many failed date setters in the last 100 years have done. Date setting Daniel's 70 weeks is just as bad as date setting the Second Coming. All 483 years were finished way before Jesus was born. Trying to shoehorn dates for the First Coming is about as close as shoehorning dates for the Second Coming. Messiah was not promised to return before the 483 years were up. Jesus was born and lived, and died after they had come to an end. Yes time is running out for God to bring an end to Adam's punishment. Except no one seems to have a biblical consensus when that is. The 4th Commandment gives us a hint.

This is wrong The command to restore jerusalem was in the 20th year of king artexerxes. (Neh 2) (444 Bc)

The commands you speak of was only the temple not the city

If it was the city. The commands in neh 2 would have nt been needed
The command was given in 539 BC in the first year of Cyrus as king of Babylon. Ezra 1 was the official decree for the whole 69 weeks. Work was being done for 49 years, but was halted, Artexerxes, had to reboot the command. That is why Gabriel gave a 7 week period and a 62 week period. There are 2 dates. Cyrus for the 69 weeks. Atexerxes for the 62 weeks, over 49 years later.

Artexerxes actually gave a decree not to build. But the records of Cyrus were brought forth, and Artexerxes honored the decree of Cyrus. Artexerxes also made a decree with Nehemiah, but not necessarily the one Gabriel was talking about. The 490 years are not from Artexerxes.

The life of Christ happened in 22AD too. but it is no marker and 23 is no marker, 27 is. 31 is.

As you have been shown several times, Revelation 20:1-6, "Thousand Years" is symbolic of eternal in the Lords Spiritual

Do you believe (The Souls) and (The Dead) seen are living upon this earth, smiles!

Dont forget the 70th week that sees a 2,000+ year gap awaiting fulfillment, big smiles

Is your soul living on earth?
The souls seen below in Revelation 20:4 are dead, they were killed during the future tribulation

Your suggestion they are upon this physical earth is a fable

Revelation 20:4KJV
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

'Seventy weeks are determined upon Thy people
and upon thy holy city,
.. to finish the transgression,
(H6588)
.... and to make an end (H2856) of sins,
...... and to make reconciliation for iniquity,
........ and to bring in everlasting righteousness,
.......... and to seal up the vision and prophecy,
............ and to anoint the most Holy.'

(Dan 9:24)

Hello there,

The final weeks of the seventy weeks of Daniel nine immediately precede the thousand year reign, and carry into that period the blessings indicated in Daniel 9:24 (above), which will characterise the Millennium.

1. The restraining of Satan
2. The restraining of transgression
3. The sealing up of sins
4. The rule of the rod of iron.
5. The willing obedience of Israel.
6. The feigned obedience of many of the nation.

* The first thing to be accomplished when the seventy weeks have accomplished their purpose is, 'to finish (H3607= Hb.'Kala') the transgression' (H6588 =Hb.'Pesha').

* What does this mean? Will transgression be 'finished' in the sense that it is so completely accounted for by Atonement and Forgiveness, that it will never again raise its head? No. For the Hebrew word 'Kala', translated 'finish' here, is also translated as follows:-

Forbid (1), keep (1), keep back (1), refrain (2), retain (1), shut up (4),
withhold (2), be stayed (2), be restrained (2), be stayed (1), and finish (1).
Daniel 9:24, is the only place where it is translated 'finish' in Scripture: and in the marginal notes it is corrected by the words, 'or restrain'. The word is used of the imprisonment of Zedekiah and of Jeremiah, and the noun forms 'kele', and 'beth kele,' translated 'prison'.

* Daniel nine does not teach us that when that prophecy is fulfilled transgression will be 'finished', it will be RESTRAINED or IMPRISONED. This will be also the condition of Satan throughout the Millennial Kingdom, he will be 'bound' for a thousand years, but he will by no means be 'finished'. In like manner, sins will be SEALED UP, as the marginal notes indicate against the reading of 'to make an end (H2856 Hb. 'chatham') of sins'.

'chatham' is translated:- seal (16), seal up (6), mark (1), be stopped (1) and the Chaldaic word in Daniel 6:17 - seal.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

I believe that the 70 weeks were fulfilled in the times of the Maccabees and the Old Testament beast Antiochus Epehanies. If you were a Jew living in those days who would you of thought Daniel was prophesying about as these events happened after the angel delivered the prophecy to Daniel?

Hello @Marty fox,

As I read about the Maccabees and the Old Testament beast Antiochus Epiphanies I can understand why you believe as you do about the prophecy of the 70 weeks. I read that:-

Antiochus Epiphanies was a Greek Hellenistic king of the Seleucid Empire from 175 BC to 164 BC.
As Antiochus 1V, He is known for his persecuted of Jews within Judea and Samaria and the rebellion of the Jewish Maccabees. These Jewish warriors took control of Judea between 167-160 BC, while under the rule of the Seleucid Empire, because of it's influence on Jewish life. Antiochus Epiphanies launched a campaign of repression against them in 168BC. Jewish practices were banned, Jerusalem was placed under direct Seleucid control, and the Second Temple in Jerusalem was made the site of a Pagan-Jewish cult.

* Yet the fact that Christ will return to the earth again at the end of the seventy weeks is sufficient in itself to show that the history of that time does not fulfill the prophecy of the seventy weeks. For He has yet to come.

* Thank you for responding, but at present I am not sufficiently equipped to enter into a discussion on this subject in detail, for it is some time since I studied Daniel and considered these things.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris

As you have been shown "Several Times" Daniel 9:27 seen below is a "Future Event" and the bad guy seen will be on earth causing abomination and desolation to the "Consummation" or "Ultimate End"

Merriam-Webster
Definition of consummation

1: the act of consummating the consummation of a contract by mutual signaturespecifically : the consummating of a marriage
2: the ultimate end : FINISH

The "Consummation" Is A (Future Event Unfulfilled)

Daniel 9:27KJV
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Antiochus Epiphanies served as a 'blueprint' for the final Antichrist that's to come at the end of our present world. How do we know this?

1. It's because Lord Jesus in His Olivet discourse quoted from the Book of Daniel about the "abomination of desolation", which that shows clearly at the time of Christ's 1st coming that final "one week" of Daniel 9:27 was still yet to be completed. That strikes out any leaven idea of men that the 70th week was completed by the end of Christ's Ministry.

2. The subject of the "abomination of desolation" is defined in Daniel 11 about the "vile person" who creates a "league" with a "small people" in Jerusalem, forsaking the holy covenant (old covenant). Then he and his end the sacrifices there, and instead place the "abomination that maketh desolate". That is exactly what Antiochus Epiphanies did in 170-165 B.C.

Antiochus Epiphanies took Jerusalem with an army, went into the temple there, sacrificed swine upon the altar and spread its broth around inside the temple, spiritually desolating it, and then placed an idol upon the altar in Zeus worship, further desolating the temple, and demanded all to worship it. But Antiochus DID NOT work the 'great signs and wonders' and 'miracles' that Lord Jesus warned the coming pseudo-Christ at the end of the world would do. Thus there are differences with what Antiochus did in history, vs. what the final Antichrist at the end of this world is to do, in Jerusalem.

3. In 70 A.D., the Roman general Titus and his army tried... to get possession of the temple in Jerusalem. Instead, it caught fire when his army and the Jews fought in it. That temple burned down. Thus, he did NO placing of the "abomination of desolation" in 70 A.D. Jerusalem. Titus then destroyed the city and the wall, and the temple was destroyed by burning. (see this history from the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus who lived in 100 A.D.)

Did Antiochus Epiphanies in 170-165BC fulfill Daniel 9:27?

"NO"

Daniel 9:27 & Matthew 24:15 is a future event unfulfilled
