Because on Judgment Day those who vote to kill people will not receive mercy. Jesus said so!
Where? What passage?

Christians make a distinction between "murder", which is death inflicted by an individual, and "death penalty" which is prosecuted by the state. Read and understand Romans 13:1-4, wherein Paul says that the government is God's avenger. When a Jury votes for the death penalty, the individuals on the Jury are not representing themselves; they represent the state.

Did God forgive your sins? Did you vote to kill others of their sins?

Quite the opposite! God specified the death penalty for certain sins under the Law; and God is not one of Satan’s children.
So you vote to kill people for their sins even though God forgave your sins?

I don’t understand your dilemma. The God I know invokes the death penalty quite freely. If you have a problem with that, then your issue is with God. Perhaps you should tell God to smarten up and follow your wisdom. ??

In Noah’s day God issued death penalty upon EVERYONE on the entire earth except for EIGHT people. Do you have a problem with God’s laws?? He has wiped out entire nations in the past, and has warned of His intent to do so in the future.

If a person has been sentenced to death in accordance with our laws, then he is sentenced in accordance with those laws created by those whom God has chosen to rule over us.

And your problem with all of this is . . . ?

Seems that God does not meet your expectations. ?? He has given you the freedom to toss Him aside, if you so choose.

“Choose you this day who you will follow. . .”

I am listening and it's SICKENING to see "Christians" say God forgave their sins and then vote to MURDER others for their sins.

Im amazed how many Christians have voted for it. Especially given how obviously corrupt our justice system is.

If you can't afford a barrister and your innocent then bad luck... Your guilty. The justice system revolves around money and only the wealthy get justice. There are heaps of innocent people in jail because of this

This statement is not in context and saying believing in a much swifter death penalty is satanic is ludicrous and unbiblical.

Vengeance is against God for it is his to take vengeance. That is an act of an emotional personal desire.

Capital punishment should be stateswide it is not inhumane. Murder is inhumane and against God no one has the right to take another's life except in defense!

You are makinging yourself look silly with all this hoopla.

Capital punishment is a deterrent. No one want anyone to die. To say otherwise is disingenuous.
