That is not what I’m saying but you can’t hear anything for the bullseye you have placed on the back of every homosexual. You can’t deny Romans 13:1-2
[1] Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. [2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
So are you saying man has changed the ordinance of God? If so, wouldn’t disagree in that is what I meant by the laws are changing. Do not mean this to be condemning but in hope of the work of the life-giving Spirit: if you will notice gay marriage as acceptable by the government receiving its seal of approval promotes vanity and pride which is maybe what you despise so much about it. That it is then paraded on television and celebrated. As is women who gain the governments seal of approval to abort a child at any stage of pregnancy. It promotes not less vanity and corruption but more. Those are not the only laws being changed but now even family law is changing to promote error. How do you know it is not God’s will for the world to be taken in a snare?
If they cuffed you and brought you into the court and convicted you as being an homosexual and condemned you under the law. Would you stand there with your mouth shut and bear His suffering...to partake of His shame and humiliation? Or would your pride be too big. You may argue that was only for Him but you’ll have to fully ignore “My sheep Hear My voice and follow Me.” And “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.”
Still we are not to hate the person but the bondage they are held in. The world promises false peace. He gives real peace. In no way are you easy to be intreated...why would any homosexual come ask about your God...your God is hate. As the love and peace movement and getting stoned and loving-up on everyone accomplished nothing so does the white pointing hats and lynchings. Neither does your phobias accomplish anything.
He said to submit. Jeremiah 13:18 Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your glory.
He said the principalities we are speaking of is coming down and a new government is being put in place...His. We are to have patience and do what He said which you seem to spit on as it appears weak and therefore to you vile.

This is a segment of a thread I posted sometime back on Romans 1
B. The descent into homosexuality, 26-27
“Their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural. In the same way also, the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.”
God sees homosexuality as a perversion of the natural, in other words, it is the perversion of a created function. It redefines the meaning of sexuality. This is a departure from the natural place of human sexuality. More than that, homosexuality represents an even greater departure from the truth of God. This is a deeper state of depravity than that of the immorality of the previous verses. Sexual perversion then has a pattern of decline.
1. First, sexual behavior is removed from the confines of the marriage covenant and extended to those outside of this covenant relationship.
2. Second, it is then expanded to include homosexual behavior. God describes this behavior in five ways.
a. It is unnatural
b. It is indecent / perverted
c. It is an error in both thought and behavior.
d. It is improper
The standard by which these things are defined as improper is of course the mind of God.
e. God punishes this type of thought and behavior both in this life in the physical body and in eternity.
3. Third, sexual behavior is then expanded even further to include such things as bestiality. This of course represents the lowest state of sexual decline. It never ceases to amaze me when people, even in the Lord's Church, have become so willing to accept and vigorously defend what God in his righteousness has condemned and assigned to judgment. This has to be the pinnacle of human arrogance.
C. The fundamental cause of this descent into depravity is that man has taken upon himself the right to reassign meaning to everything in his world.
1. The meaning of the word of God has been reassigned. The word of God has now become irrelevant to the human context. It has become regarded as restrictive, too antiquated, too unreasonable, too impractical, too imposing, too intrusive. This is a far cry from how the Psalmist regards the word of God in Psalms 119.
a. “Oh that my ways may be established to keep Your statutes! Then I shall not be ashamed when I look upon all Your commandments.” 5-6
b. “Your testimonies also are my delight; They are my counselors.” 24
c. “From Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore, I hate every false way.” 104
d. “Your testimonies are wonderful; Therefore, my soul observes them.” 129
e. “The sum of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting.” 160.
What a contrast of attitudes about the word of God.
2. The meaning of the natural world has been reassigned by man. Objects of the natural world have now become venerated objects of worship. God has now been replaced by his own creation.
3. The meaning of human behavior has been reassigned. Whatever man decides to do, whatever experience he chooses to experiment with, no matter how perverse, is now considered enlightened behavior and regarded as wise and progressive.
But you see, only God has the right to assign absolute meaning to the universe. Only God has the right to assign absolute meaning to human experience. That function was never given to man. Our place is not to manufacture meaning. Our place is to accept meaning that has already been revealed to us.
The meaning of these verses is very clear. All human existence, all human experience is answerable to the word of God. This subordinate position seems excessive to those who see the Bible at best as nothing more than a subjective guide to behavior rather than as an absolute. Man insists upon projecting his own meaning onto the word of God, onto the universe, onto his own behavior. The problem with this kind of humanistic approach to experience is that projected meaning by man is always limited, it is always time bound (disregards any notion of an eternal destiny or consequences). It is anthropomorphic (it sees behavior strictly from the vantage point of the human imagination). It is unfailingly prone to error, and is based solely on human subjectivity, which means that meaning has become malleable, it changes from one person to the next. Meaning no longer has an eternal, absolute context. These verses eliminate existentialism as a viable, acceptable approach to human behavior. With subjectivism, there are as many different meanings to any given human experience as there are men to provide them.
The point is that the meaning of all human experience has already been supplied by God. All that is left to man is the decision of whether he is going to accept revealed meaning or supply his own. One results in blessing, the other results in consequences. One is life sustaining, the other is terminal.

Jesus allowed for divorce based on fornication only. (Matt. 5:32). Divorce, under the law, was the man putting away the wife. Divorce was therefore prohibited except for that.
Foolish statement. Just because one is a sinner doesn't make you a queer. If you were to go down the path described in (Rom. 1:18-32) then yes, you would be turned over to homosexuality.
Yes the New Testament is clear. As is the Old. Many of mans laws are contrary to God. Just because wicked man passes a wicked law, doesn't mean God has passed that law. It doesn't mean God is for homosexuals. It doesn't mean God is for queer marriages.
Of course I pay taxes. Jesus observed the Law of God to the extent that it was within the bounds of the will of God. Do you believe Jesus was a homosexual? Do you believe Jesus would have approved of the U.S. passing laws favoring queers and queer marriages?
You and your pardner skywriting are trying to say God is for homosexuality now. That it is ok for homosexuals to marry. That is a perversion and a manipulation of the Scriptures.

I never have denied (Rom. 13:1-2). What I deny is what the Quaker man says is to be interpreted from that. He says God is for homosexuality and for queer marriages. I am saying God is not. I am saying any law passed to support homosexuality is not from God. And if such a law is used in any way to be forced upon the believer, we are not required by God to obey that law.
I don't quite understand your scenario of someone being cuffed and found guilty of being a homosexual. I will say this, if a law was passed that homosexuality was illegal and even punishable by death, I would be all for it. Why, because that is in harmony with God and His laws.

Things will not "make sense", until meaning, understanding and applicability is revealed.
And numerous people have DIFFERENT meanings, understandings and applicabilities.
Thus the Conversation becomes a quagmire.
For example: Sin, Christian, Saved, Born Again, Converted, Second Coming, Rapture, etc. Are not words ALL meant, understood or applied the SAME by ALL People.
And WITHOUT each individual EXPLAINING what those terms MEAN TO THEM, yet repeatedly USING those terms, the Conversation between two, not knowing what the other thinks things MEAN, can QUICKLY turn confrontational.
Yet if every person Explains what those terms mean to them, in every situation, Others Complain, their post is too long.
Simply put from MY meaning, understanding, application to ME.
Sin is hearing of God and then Disbelief in God.
Sin is hearing of Jesus and then Disbelief in Jesus.
Sin is hearing of Christ and then Disbelief in Christ.
Sin is hearing of the HS and then Disbelief in the HS.
That simple.
Sin is Standing Against, Disbelief In, Thee Lord God Almighty.
And Sin IS ONLY Forgiven "BY" God.
(Sin is NOT being mean, lying, cheating, corruption....BETWEEN man and man)
That APPLIES to me, A GENTILE.
What (APPLIED/APPLIES) to the Tribes of ISRAEL (was/is) Different.
Sin to ISRAEL, was governed UNDER LAWS.
Steal a goat, food, money, a man....a sin.
Cheat a man out of his property...a sin.
Lie to your neighbor, wife, kids, etc...a sin.
Mix fabrics...a sin.
Marry outside of Israel...a sin.
Not provide for your family...a sin.
Not teach your family about God...a sin.
Not work...a sin.
Not set time for prayer / worship God...a sin.
Not rest your fields...a sin.
Not offer animals blood unto God...a sin.
Not observe feasts / festivals...a sin.
On, and on and on..SINS according to "LAW"
Violate A LAW, then there were Consequences that God directed and man wrote and man informed the men of their tribe.
NONE of that Applied to a Gentile....unless and until A GENTILE AGREED to assimilate and LIVE AS an ISRAEL agreed to LIVE by such Laws.
I said (APPLIED/APPLIES}, pertaining to ISRAEL TRIBES...because, the FACT is Jesus fulfilled the Law, which MEANS once the LAW was "accomplished", the penal laws that were the laws of "negative consequences" for violating the Law, BECAME MOOT.
The thing about A LAW is;
1) A Postive Law, Directs.
2) A Negative Law, Prohibits or is the method for doling out a Negative Consequence for disobedience of the Postivie Law.
It is the PENAL LAW (Negative LAW), that is the "FORCE POWER" to do something, when a Positive Law in disobeyed.
IOW, once a Positive LAW is fuliflled, the FORCE POWER (Penal Law) becomes MOOT...
The Force and Effect, no longer Stands.
As in what I listed in Examples...

It was a Positive LAW, that ISRAEL Tribesmen were Required to yearly take their PURE Animal and present it in the Temple Court, for that animal to be the persons SIN OFFERING.
To FAIL to do so, WAS A SIN, and meant that their years sins would not be forgiven.
But ONCE Jesus OFFERED HIS PURE BLOOD...
THAT Requirement, ie THAT LAW was fulfilled.
And the Consequence for NOT bringing a pure Animal to the Temple for a SIN Offering, Became MOOT, (ie no longer necessary).
And there was no Consequence FOR NOT bringing an Animal to be Offered.
And THOSE THINGS...(By and THROUGH Mosaic LAWS) were GIVEN to ISRAEL TO DO...NOT Gentiles.
When Jesus Arrived ON EARTH...and then Jesus was REVEALED, He IS the Christ Messiah....
It was ISRAEL first notified, and taught, The Messiah they had been Waiting For....HAS ARRIVED...Your Laws are Fulfilled...Your Penal Consequences are WITHOUT Force and Effect....Salvation Has Come unto Them...ONCE and Forever and For All "believing, trusting & accepting" generations...
YEAH...some believed, Awe...some didn't.
AND THEN; Enter Saul / Paul...
Salvation...Of NOT ONLY ISRAEL ... BUT Gentiles ALSO.

Some Israel accepting God and Christ Jesus, some not.

ISRAEL TODAY, is a combination...Some remain under the Law (since Jesus gave a CAVEAT...He fulfilled the Law, and Israel can accept that....OR Israel can remain UNDER the Law, (according to the Caveat...the law was fulfilled, BUT NOT DESTROYED) which requires them to be UNDER ALL of the LAW. (And that is a feat, since they have NO Temple IN Jerusalem, Which Thee Temple, expressly IN Jerusalem, WAS THEE designated place FOR Animal Sacrifice, "FOR" their forgiveness of "yearly" sins.)
And SOME of ISRAEL TODAY has Become Converted...calling themselves;

A Christian IN Scripture is what one man NOT following Jesus' teachings, CALLED another man WHO WAS following Jesus' teachings.
Today, Christian, can mean, a follower....or a Converted man. Christian is used interchangeably, even though there is a Distinct difference between a Follower and a Converted man.
And that lends to confusion in a conversation, when two people do not express the exact meaning of how they use the term Christian.
I am a Gentile.
My Sin was not, is not against people, as According to Mosaic LAW.
I was NOT Under the Law, nor Agreed to Be subjected to their Laws.
My Sin was being naturally born Against God, Against Christ Jesus.
My Sin would be hearing of God, hearing of Christ Jesus and NOT believing In Him.
My Sin of Disbelief Continued, Until I decided to to Confess my Belief, and COMMIT my Life TO thee Christ Lord Jesus.
ONCE I DID THAT, I became "MADE" a new Creature, BY the Power of God.
ONCE I became "MADE" a new Creature, the OLD DIED.
ONCE THE OLD WAS DEAD, the OLD which SUBMITTED to Christ the Lord Jesus, COULD no long DECIDE to REJECT GOD...IT IS DEAD.
The DEAD know nothing. The DEAD do not make decisions and choices.
And THAT is the premise of OSAS.
Once a Conversion is MADE, the old is dead and the new has Forever life with God.
(And THIS is also WHY, the distinction between simply a Follower (who CAN QUIT believing at any time) and a Converted man (who is forever with God)...is so important for men to distinguish, especially when conversing on an open forum.)
And now simply giving MY understanding, becomes lengthy, but without knowing the understanding of every person one converses with....it simply becomes page after page of spit arguing.

Nonsense most homosexuals have many partners and are up for sex with anyone at a drop of a hat.

That's just not the case. The active gays are somewhat more active than you....for sure. But they really don't get much encouragement to marry so many of them never do. Who should we blame for that?
And don't forget. Because it annoys you, gays are not welcome in your neighborhood, so they are less likely to settle down due to your good influence? hey?

I don't really blame the celibacy rule for the high numbers of pedophiles/priests in your family. It is just an easy place for the Pedo's to hide out.
I'm not in favor of shooting priests on sight, but I have had similar thoughts about those who have been found guilty. Likely your relatives are fully aware of the problem. My dad informed me about the "little boys" problem 40 years ago because the was a sheet metal worker on the roof with a birds eye view. We will just have to imagine that priests think God can't see pedophiles as well as my dad working on the church roof.
I just have to remind myself that we are all as guilty as any Pedeophile.

Don't you know that when we repent as in Acts 2:38 we are repenting of the whole sin nature. That is what being born again of the Spirit is all about. That old nature is dead. It is that nature that spews out sins left and right, and no one can escape sinning UNTIL Jesus takes it away and makes us new creatures. Jesus said that whoever sins is a slave to sin - no matter what the particular sin is. But Jesus came to take away our sin (nature) and in Him there is no sin. We no longer have the desire to sin anymore. Having the Spirit and not in the flesh (nature) is the test of whether or not you belong to Christ. Those who continue to sin belong to the devil.

Lived across the street from two sodomites who preached the lifelong partnership, more faithful than heteros lie.
Contractor friend of mine worked on their home, caught me leaving for work, looked like a ghost approaching me. One of the sodomites propositioned him and he couldn't believe it. He wasn't the first or last. The partner sodomite was clueless.
Their alleged peacefulness, harmlessness is both a myth and a lie. They want all to celebrate and embrace sodomy.
