Doug needs very serious surgery

Doug and Patty his wife need prayers. They also have two teen girls.

Doug had heart surgery about three years ago. They told him his neck arteries were 70% clogged. But they said they couldn't do surgery...too risky.

Patty made sure to give Doug a healthy diet. And Doug, although very thin, always went to work to support his family.

Now the doctors said Doug must have the neck surgeries. They said his neck arteries are 100% clogged on both sides of his neck.

Patty called me last night very tearful asking for prayers.

No. Patty said Doug received the phone call from the doctor. She would have liked to have asked questions but I guess they phoned Doug at his work.

She now wonders why they wouldn't do the surgery when his arteries were only 70% clogged.

She says Doug had cancer treatments when he was a child and she thinks that contributed to the clogging of his arteries.

They are my neighbors and Patty became my friend as she would always ask me if I needed anything when she was at the market.

Yes, I understand that. I haven't heard back from Patty for an update.

I did tell her on voice mail to make sure she gets the password for paying the rent. This month our apartment building made everyone sign up for online payment of rent. Doug did it all as usual. Maybe he did autopay like I did. But she still needs the password to access it.

Still trying to talk with Patty for an update on Doug.

She was quite upset the other day as Doug is the main wage earner. Also, he takes care of mostly everything.

I'm still trying to make contact with Patty to see what's happening with Doug. She is often out so it's best for me to phone her which I have done... leaving voice mails.

Patty finally called me a little while ago.

She said the doctor wants to do some other test the first week of October...the soonest available. She couldn't remember the name of the test.

All I can say is that this is life in Los Angeles. I would think they would schedule him sooner.

Oh, and responsible Doug....he is still going to work! He makes copies of legal documents.

Patty doesn't have the password for paying the rent which I again encouraged her to get. And I've been encouraging her for a long time that she and Doug should not only trust in Jesus as their Savior but also read the Word of God to learn what God says to them. I gave them a Bible a long time ago. Today I encouraged her to talk with their girls about Jesus.

A few weeks ago I talked with Doug briefly about Jesus and he said he believes like that. He and Patty pray but I don't think they read the Bible.

Serrapeptase, is supposed to remove clogging from veins. Available thru Amazon. Nattokinase is 30 x times less effective than Serrapeptase, Lumbrokinase is supposedly 300 x stronger. Do some research on them. All available on Amazon. This from my own Research.

I saw Doug late last night. He had the other test the doctor wanted done. Doug said the results should come in a few days. Then they will decide what to do about surgery.

Doug is looking extremely thin even in his face and neck. Yet this husband and a father of two teen girls still goes to work. It's quite amazing.

I was talking with Doug's wife Patty. She mentioned trying to find pure Pomegranate juice as she heard it can help unclog arteries.

So I mentioned you telling about the above supplements and she wanted the names. I gave the note to her daughter and told her to tell her mom to research them.

Neighbor Doug has an appointment on the 24th of October for the doctor to talk with him.

The doctor talked with them over the phone. Doctor said she wants to talk with several doctors and surgeons. Doctor said she will then phone them next week about what's happening.

Doctor said Doug could possibly have a stroke...but let's pray he won't. He's still going to work, God bless him.

Update. The doctor phoned Doug and Patty. They want to put a stent in his neck arteries and are scheduling him for December 11. It is still dangerous but they feel the stent is less dangerous.
