Absolutely. Declaring that this and that is going to take place in the future without any real connecting references. For example. Over the years I have seen many people pick random scriptures from the OT prophets, and without making any connections, arbitrarily placing them in the future and saying, this will take place after... And just before... But this, (with reference to another OT scripture disconnected to the original) must happen first, etc etc. I believe we have all seen examples of this and many accept it without question. If we do question it, we are told, "you don't believe in the word of God". That's nonsense. It isn't the word of God when texts are plucked out randomly and given context without sequential or corroborating connections. That's a distortion and misuse of scripture and no different from Nostradamus or a clairvoyant using tarot cards. Only more dangerous because it claims to be based on scripture. It isn't. It is based on feelings, emotion, and self.Clairvoyance?
We can know in general terms what the future holds through prophecy. If we stick with the symbols and clues and criteria the scriptures offer us.
