Paul preached the gospel to the uttermost of the earth. He did his job. Now what?

Doesn't everyone in America already know about God, and the Lord Yeshua? Perhaps it's better just to start doing a bible study and recording yourself and putting on youtube. That's what most people do now... Right?

I get sharing together with people about the Lord Yeshua, and things of that nature that is all fine and great, but doesn't everyone know they are gonna die and face some type of judgement from God?

Of course you got some people who know about God and Jesus, and are unsure.

Then you have people who know about God and Jesus, and don't care nothing about them period.

Yes, you can brings those into that pretty easily. They went down in ships, the storm, and his calming that storm, I think it also ressonates when a picture speaks to what is going on within in the same way, and the peace of Christ comes to us.

When I was young and still living at home, my mother had a book on the bookshelf in her bedroom that was entitled "The peace of God." When I read the introduction to that book, the author said that he thought about putting a picture of a sailboat floating on a lake on a sunny day on the front cover of the book. Instead, he opted to put a picture of a bird sleeping in its nest on a wind-blown tree branch during a torrential downpour. This seems to be in line with what you are saying.

Some were mockers and scoffers...even to the point of becoming violent.

With many others, I could see the wheels turning in their minds as they were confronted with truths that they had either never considered before or had long buried.

Thankfully, there were also those who got saved right on the street.

For me, it is as simple as "What would Jesus do?"

He came to seek and to save those who are lost, and we ought to be doing the same in some capacity.

I know exactly what picture you are talking about with the bird in a storm and even when I looked at that one I was somewhat amazed that someone come up with the idea for a peace by utilizing a picture in that way.

I am not an artist but painting in a storm on canvas wouldnt be the first thing that would come to me when I am trying to give an impression of peace. But it still worked there.

All that I can tell you is this:

Jesus commanded his disciples to go and make other DISCIPLES. When I used to preach on the streets, I lived in New Jersey, and I preached pretty frequently in New York. Mostly in the Bronx, but also in Manhattan and Brooklyn at times (I also preached in New Jersey). One of the people that I preached on the streets with lived in Pennsylvania, and I used to teach Bible studies at his apartment. When people got saved on the streets of New York, I would drive from my home in New Jersey every Saturday, pick those people up in New York, and then take them all to Pennsylvania where I spent hours seeking to disciple them. If they fell away sometime after that, then that is on them. At my end, I did what Jesus instructed us to do.

Not really. Christians are called to be co-laborers with God. We plant and water, and then God gives the increase.

With those who stopped, I certainly attempted to do just that. With those who kept on going, I told them the truth through my preaching, so if nothing else, then I at least attempted to either plant or water the seed of God's word in their hearts.

It definitely was not that.

Did you even read my previous post? I told you that I drove from New Jersey to New York every Saturday to pick up the people who had responded favorably to my/our preaching, and then I drove them to Pennsylvania where I had long Bible studies with them. One of them actually lasted 12 hours.

God told us to preach the gospel to every creature. You know, go out into the highways and byways, and compel them to come in. Why are you so adverse to God's instructions?

That's actually a great verse. Jesus reaps what we have sown. If we don't sow, then he takes away that which he initially gave us. Just one of those parables that nobody seems to like...

As I have told you before, the Bible says that "God is love." It does not say that "Love is God," but that is what many professing believers have duped themselves into believing. In other words, they start with a warped concept of what "love" is, and then they fashion of "god" of their own making to match that concept.
