That's my thing! I just don't find these sorts of things to be "entertainment".Surely I believe that people can be possessed; but I don't think it should be something made into a form of entertainment.
Much love!

Yeah I know, just because we're Christians we're regular people like everybody else and we all have our likes and dislikes. It sort of gets annoying but I've gotten used to it and just try to show them grace and be polite as possible since they're entitled to their opinion too. Everybody's walk is different that's all.
I agree, it's as if they forgot how to be normal people. Once my Church went out to eat (we had about 8 people back than, now 6) and one parishioner ordered a beer and we stared, but the Bible never said stop being normal. I figure some people just don't want to enjoy the life God gave em. That's fine more for us to enjoy
Yeah and it's not like horror movies are real anyways,.. I mean even if The Exorcist is based on a true story there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that it's been Hollywoodized.
Completely. The real story is a boy and takes place over years and has nothing like the movies, for Hollywood that would be boring
Amen!! I actually just created a thread for Christian movies.I actually don't watch horror movies. I am a Christian. I like to watch Christian movies
My life has contained enough horror ...I don't care to go seek it out. I don't get people who say they are Christian who want to delve into darkness rather than the Light. No interest

We have so much we can rejoice in, instead. (Cf. Philippians...)My life has contained enough horror ...I don't care to go seek it out. I don't get people who say they are Christian who want to delve into darkness rather than the Light.
I had a mate that we all called a mogware or what ever it is, don't feed him grog after midnight or he became a real pain, he was 5ft tall 45kg but made out he was 10ft tall and bullet proof, we had to deal with all that with him picking fights and causing trouble. in the morning I would say you were a real A hole last night and he would just smile and one day in came another mate and said the same directly to him.Gremlins is a family-friendly classic. It's considered comedy-horror by Wikipedia. I don't usually watch horror movies, but have watched Gremlins and I think I also watched Gremlins 2, those Gremlins sure can be mischievous though.
It's kind of at the same level as Ghost-busters, you don't have to be into horror movies to enjoy it and it's worth the watch if you haven't seen it, as I said it's a classic.
Honestly, it's frustrating because those who say they're Christian and watch this mess, won't budge or make an effort to hear the real testimonies of people who have survived horrific things related to the occult. Most, I suspect, couldn't imagine being bound on an altar as a 4 yr old for 3 days while 2 fallen entities sacrifice an infant (1 for each day) and use your little body as a gateway to invoke end times incursions. Real darkness does exist and these movies serve to dull the discernment.....even of those sitting on the church pews.AMEN
I didn't mean to judge you, AprilNo offense or anything but watching horror movies and participating in the occult are two different things. We're not joining the occult or anything.
And I don't get the harm in enjoying something that's not even real.

Some people just don't make sense. Really after I left evangelicalism I stopped trying to figure them out and enjoy my life
