Hello there,

As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord, our fellowship is with the Father and with the Son by the Spirit (1 John 1:3), and our fellowship with each other is reflective of the fellowship that we have had individually there. If that fellowship is lacking then there can be no true fellowship with each other (1 John 1:6-7), can there?

We are also to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them (Ephesians 5:11). What are those, 'unfruitful works of darkness,' in your estimation? How are they manifested in this day and age, do you think?

Again, what constitutes, 'Fellowship' among believers?

I would value your thoughts.

:)

On fellowship, this is sharing between us, the fellowship of Christ, of giving, of serving, of suffering. The things we do together that bring out our oneness in Christ.

The love of God outpoured into our hearts, to me this is about that love flowing out from us like a torrent.

As you say, we have to have fellowship with God before we can have meaningful fellowship with others.

Much love!
