It is not just Christians who are not funny - conservatives are not funny, period.

When Conservatives try to be funny they end up teaching a moral lesson and become the butt of a liberal joke.

We use to see an experience in Pentecostal circles called being 'drunk' in the Spirit. When this happened the individual would light heartedly laugh. When you tried to communicate with them they would light heartedly laugh in return. I seen a sister experience this when I was a teenager and I just wondered what her testimony would be the next night of revival. She testified that she did not go to bed that night and spent the whole evening in the bible.As serious as people get these days I think that the experience of being 'drunk' in the Spirit is something beneficial in our time!
