We see many people sling the word fundamentalist around like it is profanity. The truth of the matter is that if you do not abide by the fundamentals of anything then you are moving into something new and establishing a new set of fundamentals.

Normally it is a liberal that wishes to have their cake and eat it too that wishes to attack Fundamentalist as being wrong when it comes to Christianity.

Without the fundamentals in Christianity you have some other religion. The problem we have today in Christianity is that there are too many that are not fundamentalist... :)

Then of course in something like Islam the fundamentalists are those that set off bombs and kill people and do what their religion teaches and they are labeled as the same way. Truth is you have a religion where people are deceived by the devil and act according to his teaching and then people expect moderate demon-ism if there is such a word.

Believing in the fundamentals is not the problem with Fundamentalism; it is ONLY believing in the fundamentals that is the problem. Chesterton was correct when he compared professors with crazy people - both groups have a narrow point of view and defend it to the death (reason be damned) - both are true fundamentalists.

VERY CORRECT!

The REAL meaning of a Christian Fundamentalist is about those who STICK to what GOD says in His Word, instead of adding the world's view to It. That's especially why Christ's enemies hate Fundamentalists so much, because they simply won't stand for all the levers the radical socialist-communists use to try and infiltrate them. There is NONE other Way of Salvation but through the Blood of Jesus Christ, that's the main Biblical Truth all Christian Fundamentalists believe, and it is correct to believe it.

So, what you are really saying is that Fundamentalist are imaginary beings....like the Easter Bunny and Santa - well, a bit crankier, I suppose.

We all add tradition to Christianity and justify our own traditions with scripture and condemn everyone else with the same tradition.

Fundamentalists have just as many traditions as Catholics - Catholics just admit their traditons

I agree and so does God’s Word........
Mark 7:7
“Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.”
