Getting out of the : "sin confessing and repenting" trap.

If you are sinning and confessing and repenting for years, and especially if you have been doing this since you were saved 15-40 yrs ago, then you are in a carnal mess and don't understand what is happening and has happened to you.

So, i'll show you, and you can get out of that "flesh trap".. and exist here instead. = "be ye holy as God is holy"... "Present your body a living sacrifice".
In other words, end the sinning and confessing and repenting addiction that has become your broken Faith and Discipleship.

Here is what Paul tells you.....

""""Christ is become of no EFFECT unto you, ...whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.""


Now let me teach this verse to you so that you can see the depth of this issue, and get some relief and victory.

1.) """Christ has become of NO EFFECT to you...""

Now, im talking specifically to the born again, and not the water baptized and hyper religious.
So, mark that down.

What is meant by "no effect". ?
This does not mean that you are are not saved.
It does not mean that you are not trying your best to be like Jesus.
It does not mean that you are backslidden.
It means that Christ's power has no literal influence or control regarding your behavior and discipleship.
NO "effect".

Let me ask you this...
Have you ever had a broken bone, or had a back injury, or rib injury?
If so, you know it hurts. And you know that you took some pain meds.. And the EFFECT of the meds, was RELIEF. That is the medication's relief that is its effect on the pain.
So, with Salvation, Jesus is our power to live holy.. as that is the EFFECT of Christ's power.
When this is not in effect in a believer, you are sinning and repenting and confessing and its year and years. You'll go a little while and then the same sin again.. The same sin again, or a new one, and you dont want to, but you just do it. And then you feel sick. And you tell God you are sorry, and then you do it again, maybe in a month.... maybe sooner, and you are always in a mind that is sort of on the verge of some carnal behavior. its in your head and that is "sin Consciousness".
All of this is happening to you because "Christ has become of NO Effect"., Paul teaches.

Jesus explains it like this... "Apart from ME.... you can do NOTHING".... and doing Nothing is to have no power to live HOLY or even think according to the "renewed mind."

So what is the problem?
its very simple.
You have no faith in Christ to keep you saved, so you are involved with trying to stay saved by SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS. And that means you are trying to be your own savior and there is no power of Christ found in Self Saving <> Self Righteousness..
This literally means you are existing within the mind of the flesh, "fallen from Grace".. and this carnal mind, that is not "renewed" thinks that way because you have a complete lack of belief that God who saved you, keeps you saved.
Philippians 1:6
And because you dont believe this truth, you are trying to do for yourself what only God can do and God has provided. This means, your FAITH is broken, and you are :"apart from me you can do nothing", Christ told you, and Paul teaches this as "Christ has become of no effect to you".

Paraphrase... "because you are trying to be your own savior by trying to be good, do good, and keep commandments = because you BELIEVE doing this is how you keep yourself saved, you have CUT OFF CHRIST's EFFECT, and He is blocked by your carnal mind of the flesh from being God's power to CAUSE YOU to live the holy life you are failing to live".

Saint, everything with God is Faith Based. And when your faith is wrong, your Christianity and Discipleship is upside down and will stay there until you get your MIND OF FAITH, "renewed".

See that?
That is how simple the issue is, that so profoundly effects and harms your walk with God.

Solution. ?? You have to begin to understand, TODAY, that God is your Salvation. God is your redemption, God is your Eternal life, and God ALONE Through Christ = is your only Power found.... to live the Holy Life that He requires of you.
So, how do you get that MIND, that is the RENEWED MIND. ???????

You have to turn away forever, from trying to stay saved by SELF EFFORT, and embrace God's Salvation as a GIFT that you can't lose.
"The GIFT of Salvation". "The Gift of Righteousness"
If you will come to this "renewed" mind, that BELIEVES that Jesus is the SAVIOR and you are the Kept SAVED, then God will begin to apply His Grace as your VICTORY Power to live Holy and you will start your first day of real discipleship with Christ empowering you to be ABLE to live a perfected discipleship.
Your walk with God will be CHRIST BASED instead of self effort based and you will see the result immediately and a year from now you will look back on what you were before and what you are a year from now and you will praise God for His Amazing GRACE.

Saint....until you accept that Christ is the only reason you go to heaven, and you have nothing to do with that but BELIEVE IT, then you will stay in the mind of the flesh,.... carnal, sinning, probably a bit bitter and frustrated and wont be able to stop.
Its even possible that you have come to the deceived conclusion or have been deceived by the devil's owned, that Christianity is : "well, you will sin some, so just expect it and confess"..

Christianity is not that at all., Reader.
NOT AT ALL !
Christianity is God taking responsibility on the Cross to get you to heaven, and God providing the power through Christ to CAUSE you to live HOLY till you die.

That is REAL SALVATION< it is God owned and operated and you are just the recipient who has been REDEEMED by what Christ has finished on THE CROSS.

That is REAL SALVATION... its bought and paid for by the Blood and Death of God on the Cross...that is given to you as a GIFT, that when believed correctly= will empower you to live HOLY and have spiritual power.

Accept no false substitute..

If you are not born again, then confess and repent, according to 1 John 1:9.

If you are born again, the get your understanding from 1 John 3:9, that tells you that the born again do not sin.

If you are confessing your sin, then you are : trying to save yourself, and dont understand that God as Christ on the Cross, has been slain for the sin of the world, 2000 yrs ago, already.
This is why 2 Corinthians 5:19, says that God does not charge TRANSGRESSIONS to the Born again.
Not even 1.
So, if you are confessing what God does not CHARGE YOU WITH< you are simply a born again confused mess, or you are not born again, and have the false idea that telling God you are "sorry i did that again" is going to help you go to heaven, and it will not.

1 John 3:9, that is written to the BELIEVERS, says you can't sin.
You might want to read that, GISMY_7., as you are stuck in reverse, in 1 John 1:9 that was not written to the born again.

See, if you are an unbeliever, being addressed by John, 2000 yrs ago in that verse, and you say you have no sin, you are not associated with the Truth.
If you are a Mary Baker Eddy, (Christian Science) or a L. Ron Hubbard (Scientology), who teach that there is no SIN...
Or if you are a 3AD Gnostic, who teaches there is no sin, then you are deceiving yourself.

But, if you are born again, and read that Jesus became your sin and you became His Righteousness, and you still think that is not true, so you are confessing whatever, then you are just completely apart regarding any understanding of what it means to have become a Christian.

Its not a good idea to state that the Apostles are sinners.
So, if you can understand that John would not be saying..>"im a sinner, so listen to me tell you not to sin"........if you can understand this, then think again about 1 John 1:9, as you go and read 1 John 3:9

all of us have been sinners.
but, once God saves us, we become Saints.

WE are "Justified FREELY"........see that? That means "we do nothing".....we just receive God's Gracious Loving Gift of forgiveness that is wholly based on CHRIST's Cross.

After we have received this Blood Atonement, "the GIFT of Salvation"... we are to learn how to exist in the right mind of Faith, and learn how to walk in God's Grace that is our power to live holy. = our Discipleship.

Repentance and confession play a critical role in overcoming temptation. God commands that we confess our sins to Him and to one another (1 John 1:6-10, James 5:16) and repent (Revelation 3:19). According to John, denying we are sinners is calling God a liar. Confessing our sins is humbling, and it requires us to think through and articulate exactly what we have done that is wrong. The born again, have received this gift and they are now become "the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD" in Christ.

If you are not actually born again, then of course you need to worry about you sin.

Sounds like a long exposition of the OSAS hypothesis. Do we have any responsibility being a Christian? What happens if we do not live up to that responsibility? If the answer is only emotion based, then you are again advocating sinning with impunity.

You have the responsibility to "present yourself as a living Sacrifice"., as this is your Discipleship.

People like you, confuse the Cross, which is God's Salvation, with you presenting your body as a living sacrifice.

Legalism, which is..>"here is what i have to DO< to go to heaven", is basically a non-understanding of the difference between God's Salvation that is provided as a Gift that you can't earn or keep by works, .....vs, discipleship that is what you perform BECAUSE you have been GIVEN an Eternal Salvation.

Its really just that simple., and when a person does not understand that Jesus is SALVATION, then they will be found trying to save themselves.... thinking you are trusting in Christ., when you are actually trusting in yourself.

Its always interesting to note that a person who does not trust in Christ, but who trusts in SELF, will say....>"yes, i can lose my Salvation", and everyone who understands Salvation, will say..."Jesus keeps me saved".

God does not actually judge you for sin, As He has already sacrificed Christ for your sin, who "became sin".

What God does , is work on the part of you that needs to become more Christ like.
Jesus refers to this as trimming the branches that are not bearing any fruit.

Is that your Patience branch?
Is that your Selfishness branch?
Is that your Pride branch?
Is that your lazy branch?
Is that your dead faith branch?

God will perform a Hebfews 12:6 on it, if you are born again, so that this branch is not keeping you from real discipleship.

If you are born again, the get your understanding from 1 John 3:9, that tells you that the born again do not sin.

That is not the correct interpretation of that passage. Born again Christians can and do sin and must confess and repent. Read all the exhortations to believers in the New Testament. While the new nature cannot sin, the old Adamic nature can and does sin. And Paul says that there is an internal battle between the flesh and the Spirit. So do not present false Hyper Grace doctrine.

For the flesh lusteth [wars] against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. (Gal 5:17,18)
