God promises us through the Apostle John, that no matter what we ask Him that if it is according to His will, that he hears us. 1 Jn 5:14 What things could we ask God that would be in the category of being according to His will?
It is simply a promise in God's word Tom. His reputation is on the line if He don't honor it sir.It is limited to... the over 900 promises in His Word .... Or What God tells you to do (via revelation) which will never contradict the Word, but sometimes surpass it.
"Help me overcome my shortcomings."God promises us through the Apostle John, that no matter what we ask Him that if it is according to His will, that he hears us. 1 Jn 5:14 What things could we ask God that would be in the category of being according to His will?
He certainly will do that Bob, but for Him to do that, you have to do your part, correct?"Help me overcome my shortcomings."
Yes. I have to follow his instructions. He certainly will do that Bob, but for Him to do that, you have to do your part, correct?
Yes sir, if we want everlasting life anyway. Good call Bob.Yes. I have to follow his instructions.
Coming in off the street with no preconceived notions, do we have an inkling of what God's will is about anything?God promises us through the Apostle John, that no matter what we ask Him that if it is according to His will, that he hears us. 1 Jn 5:14 What things could we ask God that would be in the category of being according to His will?
Why would we sir? That is why Jesus sent his disciples to guide us, particularly in our day Isa 2:2,3; Mat 24:45-47Coming in off the street with no preconceived notions, do we have an inkling of what God's will is about anything?
John 3:16-17:God promises us through the Apostle John, that no matter what we ask Him that if it is according to His will, that he hears us. 1 Jn 5:14 What things could we ask God that would be in the category of being according to His will?
Where do you read this?He certainly will do that Bob, but for Him to do that, you have to do your part, correct?
There are nations and peoples that do not know if there be a God and are dead.Yes. I have to follow his instructions.
To know the truth that sets us free from the bondage to sin.God promises us through the Apostle John, that no matter what we ask Him that if it is according to His will, that he hears us. 1 Jn 5:14 What things could we ask God that would be in the category of being according to His will?
I don't understand the question. Specifically, I don't understand what you mean by "and are dead."There are nations and peoples that do not know if there be a God and are dead.
Are you saying they are lost?
I don't see how that applies Jun, that has already happened sir. Perhaps you were meaning to ask for a strengthened belief? Yes that would certainly be an appropriate thing to petition God for.John 3:16-17:
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
To God Be The Glory
Hi Jun, certainly, thanks for asking:Where do you read this?
Yes sir, very good thing to ask God for. He will definitely provide that.To know the truth that sets us free from the bondage to sin.
Yes, God has provided the Way and the means to walk in that Way.... that is, along the "highway of holiness" turning neither to one side or the other keeping our eyes always on the Goal which He has put before us.Why would we sir? That is why Jesus sent his disciples to guide us, particularly in our day Isa 2:2,3; Mat 24:45-47
Matthew 6:33 must be read in light of Romans 3:10-12:Coming in off the street with no preconceived notions, do we have an inkling of what God's will is about anything?
Sorry I didn't make myself clear. The phrase "and are dead" mean "have come and gone" or "existed and disappeared without knowing God".I don't understand the question. Specifically, I don't understand what you mean by "and are dead."
