Did anyone else get their settings updated unless you verify that you're an adult?

I got mine today.

What did I Google today? Only potato recipes.

So I'll boycott Google and de-Google my phone permanently.

I'm locking my mouth.

Amazon is next to get rid of.

You know what, just nevermind, get rid of it all.

I'm post-head covering/long dress Mennonite.

The reality is deeper than that. No Amish community will be the answer. Jesus is for everyone, life skills are for everyone, and opting out is a good answer.

The reason I say an Amish community not the answer is because God Himself is the one to turn to. The whole global Bride of Christ is the community.

Happened to me as well. They started the new age verification system. Really troubling as it currently exists. They'll have to work out a better idea than having people take pictures of their ID's to upload.

We've got enough database breaches and identity theivery going on than I can take for this lifetime.

Although some of Trump's followers might like the idea of identifying illegal visitors to the country.

But the fellas would probably use someone else's anyways, knowing somewhat how they usually operate, while taking illegal steps to not be identified or deported.

I agree. The way it was explained to me was they go through your history and based on your viewing and browsing activity, they'll decide your age.

Since mine is mostly recipes and day to day house cleaning and health stuff, it was too innocent to mark me as being "mature" and flagged me to need verification. Sort of ironic, isn't it?

I will not send verification partly BECAUSE of the breaches that are going on.
