I'm a major not fan of OSAS as well.

But I was thing more broadly. I'm always amazed at the number of people who believe someone is or is not going to be in Heaven, based upon that person's denomination and/or church building and/or assuming they believe something.

Much better just to ask the individual about their beliefs, and have them explain their joy in Christ to you. Yes, a person may confess Him on their lips and heart still be far from Him, but it does give a much better idea than just relying on stereotypes.
