I’m all for reading the Bible daily (and thank @Holy999 for recommending it) but reading a book a day encourages rushing past or through what it is best walked through and dwelled upon.

Not practical.

Some books can be read in 2 minutes (3 John) while others would take around 6 hours! (Psalms).

How good are you at reading just one chapter of the bible every day?
If you have been doing that for longer than a month, try reading through the bible in a year. That means reading 4 chapters a day.
