Who beleives that the illuminati secret society still exists? I do, and I have my reasons.

I believe you believe it.

I have always wondered - why should Christians care, either way?

Yeah, they still exist today. See the two period works of the historical Bavarian Illuminati order of the 18th century, one by a British Mason John Robison (1798) called Proofs Of A Conspiracy; and the other by the Catholic priest Abbe Barruel called Memoirs Illustrating The History of Jacobinism. You'll see a lot of disinformation about those two period works also, which no doubt is put out by the Illuminati occultists. See also a work called Conspiracy Against God And Man, a later work of the 1970's that adds real documentation to what Robison and Barruel exposed. Those works reveal actual documentation from discovered secret papers penned by Illuminati members themselves, including its head.

Adam Weishaupt, a Jewish doctor of law and professor at Inglstodt University, started the Bavarian Illuminati order in the 18th century. Its secret papers of the order were discovered by the Bavarian police on one of its dead agents. That's when the Illuminati order was discovered and made public to the European monarchs and governments of Europe, and then banned in Europe. Yet Weishaupt stated if his order was ever discovered, it would then go ten times deeper in secrecy.

Reading the Illuminati's ideas from those two period works is like reading about the foundations of Communist philosophy before the word Communism existed.

By those two period works, you'll get the true history of the order of the Illuminati and its ultimate goals and beliefs, and its connection with Continental Masonry. John Robison himself was a British Mason. So if he saw the Illuminati as a very dangerous animal like he showed in his work, then it means the Illuminati movement was not part of original British Masonry, as he revealed. He stated that Continental Masonry (Masonic lodges on the continent of Europe separate from Britain), had its roots and start from British Masonry involving only 3 degrees.

Weishaupt and his agents crept into the Masonic lodges of Continental Europe, claiming he had possession of the 'true' secrets of Masonry with additional high degrees. That's where the many degrees past the original 3 originate from in the Blue Lodges; not from original Masonry that came from Britain, but from Weishaupt's own Illuminati order. Weishaupt even bragged in a letter to one of his high members that his Illuminati degree on Christianity had so duped a certain Christian divine, that he didn't know he'd be the starter of a new religion (from Robison's book).

The abbe Barruel lived contemporay with Robison without knowing each other. Barruel revealed through the Illuminati's discovered papers its influence involving the French Revolution with the Jacobin clubs in France. Robison revealed some of that also. The movement is about the ultimate desctruction of Christianity and political takeover of the free nations. It's especially about revolution against the Christian monarchy and the Christian West, for the purpose of the creation of a world government according to their standards.

It's about the negative side of God's Plan, i.e., the "tares" our Lord Jesus warned us about. That means we cannot stop that movement which still today is violently against Christ and Christianity, but only God will end it according to His time schedule. It's about spiritual evil in high places, and the "tares" fomenting it on the earth to bring about the future great tribulation upon God's people. Those who use political correctness doctrine with making up labels like "conspiracy theorists" about that evil working are either in ignorance, or are in deception working for it, or are intentionally working for it in full knowledge. That's the real 'beast' working, and mark of the beast in the forehead (in the mind), and in the right hand (doing its works).

The more you understand about it without involving yourself in it, the greater possibility you might be able to help the good but deceived people trapped in it. Probably about half its members still don't really know what those secret societies are actually about (the Illuminati order is the top of the food chain over several other secret societies). Many good people go looking for the truth in those type organizations, simply because how those type orders are so masterful at preaching the lie that only they know the real truth (how else could Weishaupt have deceived a high Christian divine, or leader in Christ's Church?).

The discovered secret Illuminati papers revealed a double-sided working. With the lower member side, potential members, its doctrines supposedly revealing all truth about man and God that must be kept hidden from 'the profane' who would mistreat it. They are preyed upon using the idea of election from The Bible, i.e., like a member would not seek them out for the truth unless they were one of God's elect who is given to know God's mysteries. Thus they claim possession of God's mysteries. Using The Bible is a major part of their deception against deceived members in the lower, or "Lesser Mysteries". Lot of these members are truly good people, and have no intention of doing the evil that is part of the higher membership. What better place for evil to hide, than among the good?

One of the initiations Robison revealed the Illuminati gave, was for a lower member wanting to advance into the Greater Mysteries of the higher members. The neophyte would be taken to the place of initiation, and told to spit on a crucifix of Christ. If the member refused, they'd be told some soothsayer idea that the member was correct to refuse, in order to show respect for the neophyte's religious beliefs. But that member would never be allowed to advance and was kept in the Lower Mysteries where they were. But if the neophyte did agree to spit on the crucifix of Christ, they'd be welcomed with the idea that afterall, that crucifix of Christ is only a thing, a material object of no real importance, but that the work of the order was of the highest purpose. That's nothing but a crafty way to separate the good-hearted (but deceived) lower members from the higher charlatan members that would agree to do anything that Weishaupt deemed necessary for the sake of the end goal of the Illuminati.

On the other side, with their so-called "Higher Mysteries", those are members selected specifically for the real work of the order that is hidden from the lower membership. And that higher working is the secret overthrow of all governments and religion, especially Christianity. Those are the real revolutionists in the conspiracy. Among the Illuminati's secret papers discovered in Bavaria were personal letters written between those higher members including Weishaupt's own secret communications. They included subjects like murder, stealing, lying, piling up wealth, being committed to the order above all things including God, the use of reading societies and writing of subversive books to spread propaganda, infiltration into Masonic lodges, the promotion of pornography to destroy moral fabric of society and the family unit, infiltration into Christian posts and government posts of authority, use of poisons, child abortion, and above all, the evil philosophy of "the end justifies the means", the idea that doing any evil is acceptable in order to achieve the goal of the overthrow of the Christian monarchs and governments of Europe, and Christianity. Propaganda against the order of society of the day as being the real problem on earth was part of their justification among the higher members for fomenting revolution and overthrow. One could almost attach Lenin's name to some of Weishaupt's letters among the higher membership.

THIS is another reason why 'each' Christian needs to stay in God's Holy Writ especially for ourselves, verifying what our Christian leaders are teaching. If you don't know what God's Word teaches first, then you can be subjected to all sorts of propaganda by their agents that creep into Christ's Body. And don't think for a minute they can't creep into any Church. It should be obvious with some of the terribly false doctrines some Churches are preaching acceptance of today.

Now then. Let's see who comes here to this thread to try and counter what those works by Robison and Barruel revealed about the Illuminati order.

I am much happier when I do not worry about the things I cannot change. To be completely "in the know" is not only impossible; trying to do so often leads to bitterness and disillusionment. My grandmother is 91 and instead of spending her golden years with her great-grandchildren, she has chosen to spend her days prophesizing about the illuminanati and the coming One World Government. My wife and I got gas masks from her one Christmas, about 15 years ago (no joke) - what a waste.

That's right, and we should witness to them that our Lord Christ Jesus is going to come soon and strike those secret societies down. For the good-hearted Christians that are trapped in such a thing (for there are many), they need to come out of those secret societies now, while there's still time. To me, that would truly be the idea of coming out of the Babylon of the endtimes.

I'm not sure these secret societies couldn't have Christians in them though- they're not inherently evil, depends what they're doing. Considering we know little about them other than speculation it's folly to prescribe that Christ will strike them down.

Maybe you'd think when the Colonists that met secretly about breaking off of Britain and starting their own society were evil secret societies too.

I see no difference there. It depends what they're planning.

I wholly believe there's forces at work on a New World Order. Is it the same as the Masons or Illuminati? Who knows.

Regarding the idea that we shouldn't be concerned about the working of the secret societies, that's simply not true,

Titus 1:10-13
10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
(KJV)

If Apostle Paul recommended rebuke to those deceivers whose mouths subvert whole houses, how much more does that mean upon those outside The Church that try to subvert Christianity and government?

Christ said we would know them "by their fruits" in Matthew 7. By understanding the 'fruits' discovered from the historical Bavarian Illuminati of Europe, that's how those in Christ will recognize that working still going on today. We have a responsibility to look at the "fruits" according to our Lord Jesus in Matthew 7. And those same 'fruits' the 18th century Bavarian Illuminati did are still prevalent in society today. In 19th century America, the Masonic lodges in the U.S. fell into bad repute because of exposed evidence for sanctioned murder in the Rodgers case.

Conspiracy and treason against the U.S. to overthrow its government is still a punishable crime. Reading those period works about the Illuminati which have documented evidence of that type of conspiracy should be required reading for all the leadership in Christ's Church, and by those we elect to serve us in government. Whole works were written by the early Church fathers in exposing the Gnostic movement trying to creep into Christ's Church in the 2nd century A.D. forward.

But if some folks go buy gas masks because of fear of such things, that has nothing to do with the need for those in Christ to expose the conspiracy and those who try to subvert God's people.

Anytime you run across something that starts with the word "for", especially in Paul's writings as you find here in verse 10, you need to understand context before quoting out of context as you have done.

5 This is why I left you in Crete, so that you might put what remained into order, and appoint elders in every town as I directed you6 if anyone is above reproach, the husband of one wife, and his children are believers and not open to the charge of debauchery or insubordination. 7 For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, 8 but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. 9 He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.

10 For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party. 11 They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach. 12 One of the Cretans, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” 13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith,14 not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and the commands of people who turn away from the truth. 15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.

So, Veteran, please tell me who the "many" are Paul is talking about?

Conspiracy and treason against the U.S. to overthrow its government is still a punishable crime.

But it's OK to enjoy the overthrown government when we did it to England, right?

I didn't take the Titus Scripture out of context at all.

Titus 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

Apostle Paul especially singled out the deceivers of his own brethren Jews. Might try his other Epistles where he rebuked them more. I especially enjoy his rebuke of them in Galatians 1 and 5, where those false Jews were sneaking around in the bathrooms to see if the Gentiles were flesh circumcised or not, and Paul said he wished those false Jew's private parts were cut off (Greek apokopto).

The United States of America was by God's establishing, not man's. It was prophecy ordained and fulfilled under Christ Jesus. That's why the false Jews of the "synagogue of Satan" spend so much time trying to destroy it, just like the false Jew Adam Weishaupt who started the Bavarian Illuminati in 18th century Europe to overthrow Christianity and the governments of Europe.

Context is important BUT you gotta remember that God is talking directly to you when you open the word.. The holy Spirit can and does go out of context and goes into the context of your life.

Some secret society controling the world, turning things over for the Devil, etc, etc,,,, stamping out Christians, etc, etc,,,,,,

The only secret society controling the world is the very wealthy. ;)

It amazes me that Christians would fall for these fear mongor stories. If you take them all, and look at the root source, you'll also find alot of anti semetic undertones.

These sotries and ideas are accult beliefs, and are often portrayed and thought up by alien chasers, and atheists, and mysticists. Most of them are designed to explain what someone doesn't understand, or to bring down a certain group. It's also a great way to sell books, gain popularity, and be entertained.

Fear, fear fear,,,,,, It's nothing but Chicken Little.

I agree emphatically and completely.

Fear mongering is the primary motivation for governmental propaganda and commercial profit.

Your point is well taken that there is no secret society among men that is capable of global domination.
There are, however, many that hope to do so and work toward those ends. All those in the past who have tried to do so have failed and all who attempt it in the future will certainly fail as well.

There is, however, a sense that our world is out of control, that things are not going according to the rules of man and that our destiny is not in our own hands.
There are a number of reasons for that, primarily that the Lord Jesus Christ is steering our political processes.

Not for nothing is He called the King of Kings.

Or is that only a phrase we acknowledge on Christmas cards?

IMO the image of a helpless baby running things is ludicrous and insulting (created in our minds by greeting card companies? hmmmm).
I prefer the image of the One who sits on the Great White Throne of judgment.
That concept is more terrifying than comforting.....unless of course one is in His service.

I was wondering when the propagandists were going to show up here to try and say none of this is so.

In our day and time, with the obvious signs of a movement to establish a "New World Order" with all nations under a "one world government" (their terminology not mine), even with evidence of that kind of joining with the European Union, and evidence of a working in the Americas to join the U.S., Mexico, and Canada into a type of North American Union (North American Security and Prosperity Partnership), one would have to be terribly out of touch with reality to not realize it.

Moreover, our Lord Jesus revealed the seat of His enemies when He labeled them false Jews of the "synagogue of Satan" (Rev.2 & 3). And Christ Jesus certainly is not anti-semitic since He was born of Judah. So it's not a surprise that Adam Weishaupt who founded the Illuminati order in the 18th century was a false Jew and not a true Jew. There is a difference as revealed by Christ and His Apostles.

Gal 2:3-5
3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
(KJV)

Jude 1:4
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
(KJV)

Rev 2:9
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
(KJV)

Who beleives that the illuminati secret society still exists? I do, and I have my reasons.

I officially started believing in them formally about a year ago. I find it the world's equivalent of what John would call the beast in Revelation. The bible is in that sense every bit of a conspiracy theory according to the common man.

I see the masses being manipulated all the time. An example is medical and dietary misinformation. For example, they say to put on sun screen and avoid the sun. That's 180º opposite of what you should be doing as the sun converts your cholesterol into vitamin D. Oh, yeah, that's right. They tell you to lower your cholesterol as well (making everyone vitamin D deficient), and then we all sit here wondering why heart diseases, cancers, diabetes and whatnot is WORSE not better in spite of people dutifully following all this advice. I swear; I'm wondering if it isn't to kill off people deliberately.

The same can be said about politics, about economics and even religions.

Lately I've been looking at the 360 degree compass to see if there may be prophetic numbers hidden in this tool. For those who don't know, the 360 degree compass can be read in degrees, as well as positions on a clock. Time signatures. You may need some toilet paper for what I'm about to show you.

30 degrees = 1 O'clock

60 Degrees = 2 O'clock

Every 30 degrees = 1 hour on the clock in the 360 degree compass

Since there are 30 degrees between each hour, this means each degree = 2 minutes giving you 60 minutes per 30 degrees

Here is a compass you can book mark http://www.beprepare...0Protractor.jpg

A few days ago I was pondering the Skull and Bones 322 logo and made the mistake of only looking at 322 degrees which happens to = 10:44 on the clock. Tonight I said to myself, "Wait a minute, what does 3:22 on the clock of this compass look like."

Not long after I pondered this I realized that the 322 is now exposed and is directly connected to September 11, 1990, and September 11, 2001

322 = 3:22 on the clock which = 90 degrees plus 11 degrees for 22 minutes. Do the calculation at the link to the compass I gave you.

Remember the George H.W. Bush speech on September 11, 1990 (90 degrees) where he openly speaks of the "thousand points of light" and says the words "new world order?" Bush begins to talk about the new world Order at 9:09 in the video link.

Exactly eleven years to the day from that 19[90] (90 degrees plus 11 degrees = 3:22) NYC is set on fire

101 degrees on the compass = 90 degrees plus eleven degrees = 3:22 on a clock = 1990 to 2001 = The ace in Operation Blackjack = 10 more is needed so proceed to 2:22

You now know what 322 symbolizes. It may of course go even deeper but this is pretty eye opening to say the least. Side note: The rare earthquake flurries in central Arkansas have been right next to Millstone and Blackjack Roads at 35.264°N, 92.344°W USGS page 2:22 $100 dollar bill = The time 2:22 is set on the clock tower on the back of the $100 bill

So are you saying that skin cancer is not a real threat?

One of the biggest problems is not sitting out in the sun, BTW, it is going to tanning salons.

I believe that if we all become good consumers of information regarding our health, finances, etc, we will learn to avoid misinformation and extremism - no conspiracies required.

Who beleives that the illuminati secret society still exists? I do, and I have my reasons.

Honestly, I believe conspiracy theories serve one purpose - they provide a black and white answer to the unknown. As Christians we already have an answer for this - conspiracy theories are redundant and irrelevant.
