Here in Missouri Amendment 3, that Prohibits Abortion and Gender Transition Procedures for Minors. Amendment 3, is on the ballot in Missouri as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 3, 2026.

Plain English.....it stops abortion as a form of birth control. What it does not do.....It does not prevent abortion if a doctor determines that the mother's life is threatened by the pregnancy or in the case of rape.

But the left are running adds on TV and radio that says Amendment 3 prevents basic medical care for women.
One AD had a woman that had an abortion for supposed medical reasons, saying if Amendment 3 were passed people like her could die.
They are trying to pass off murdering babies as healthcare.
The AD's are saying that women should have the right for basic healthcare.

The left is running ADs that say that thousands and thousands could lose their Medicare and Medicaid coverage.
The truth is, preventing fraudulent use of Medicare and Medicaid and removing illegal aliens. That is the thousands and thousands that will lose their coverage which is a good thing.

Removing thousands of fraudsters and dead people off of welfare systems and Social Security.

I live in Missouri and saw those dishonest ads as well and too many gullible people bought it. My wife and I voted a hard YES on Amendment 3, but NO was the majority vote. We were very disappointed! The midterm elections in general were a huge disappointment! The Pastor of my church will touch on politics during his sermons at church around election time and he was very passionate about voting YES on Amendment 3. My Pastor is not one to shove politics down everyone's throat during his sermons, but he will voice his convictions, especially when it comes to voting for critical moral issues.

I don't lie and I had 3 children and 2 miscarriages. Is it fair to say Republicans think more about money than people?
It is the same concept here. I got judged on this site because I said I believed in 1 God and was a child of God not gods.
I honestly believe this thread is much more argumentative than what I said to the person.
