No they are not. And if they think they are sinners, they need to examine themselves; if they are in the faith.

Galatians 5:24 KJV
...they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

2 Corinthians 13:2,5 KJV
[2] I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other... Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith

Scripture in Heb 10:10 said that they were sanctified by Christ death. That's before they were born.
How is that possible? They were born as sinners (Psalms 58:3).

Sanctification is a practical thing (1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6).

No, Christians are new creatures in Christ: the old has gone; behold, all things are become new! (2 Corinthians 5:17 (kjv)).

The old is the old sinful lifestyle that characterizes the unbeliever.

The new is the holy life that characterizes the believer.

Just read 1 John 3:9, 1 John 3:6, 1 John 2:17; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (kjv), Hebrews 10:14 (kjv), 1 John 3:9; Jude 1:24, 2 Peter 1:10, 1 John 2:10; and 1 John 3:7, 1 John 3:3, 1 John 2:6.

I think that if you read these verses (given to you in groups of three) you will understand that as believers, we do not have to sin.

They're both. New creation and sinners

Sinners in that they have indwelling sin (1 John 1:8, 1 Timothy 1:15).

Not sinners in that the element of sin is rendered dead within them (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) (not eradicated but made dead) so that sin no longer has any authority over their behaviour (Romans 6:14).

See 1 John 3:9; 1 John 3:6, 1 John 2:17.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 (kjv), Hebrews 10:14 (kjv), 1 John 3:9.

Jude 1:24, 2 Peter 1:10, 1 John 2:10

1 John 3:7, 1 John 3:3, 1 John 2:6.

Yes they have indwelling sin and are brought to captivity by it and sin all the time

Not sensitive to your opinion, it means nothing to me.
If you want to chalk my statements up to being mere opinion, that is your prerogative.

But if I am in fact speaking by the Spirit of God, then you are hardening your heart against His testimony in doing so.

I suggest that you read Hebrews 3:7-8, Hebrews 3:15, and Hebrews 4:7.

The Holy Spirit testifies utilizing holy scripture. If you can read the holy scriptures and nothing changes, there is something deeply wrong.

It's only your opinion that you are speaking by the Spirit of God. I don't share that notion

Is Obedience a Condition of Salvation?
OP ^

• The Word "Obedience" standing alone is Broad.

•A Corrupt Dead in their Sin Person...--->
••Person's Option- Hear Scripture
••Person's Option- Become Follower
••Person's Option- Declare Belief/Faith

Declaration Caveat- "IF"
(Of person dead in their Sin)...
Rom 10:
[
9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, .... ("THEN") thou shalt be saved.

2 conditions:
for a Corrupt person TO Receive the Lords Offering OF Salvation.

1) Confession of Lord Jesus
2) Belief in Heart Jesus Raised from dead by God.

^ That Leans moreso toward A Corrupt person's "Election" to accept the Lords Offering.

> Whereas "Obedience" leans more toward;
a Saved Servant "doing Service" that benefits the person;
"and"
a Saved Servant "Doing Works" that Glorifies God.

Glory to God,
Taken

I have not surrendered to sin

I have surrendered to loving others

but I do not think i am perfect at it, so I continue to run the race to get better at it

So why oppose the doctrine? There's no need to split hairs. One is either holy or unholy, righteous or unrighteous, on the highway to Heaven or the highway to hell. By looking into the perfect mirror, the Holy Bible, we can know where we stand.
