Is there a relationship between John 15:1-11 and Revelation 14:18-20?

In John 15, Jesus describes Himself as the True Vine, saying that the branches which do not bear fruit are cut and cast in the fire so that the vine can bear more fruit. If in this parable the good fruit represents those who are in the True Vine, who are represented in the last three verses of Revelation 14?

Could be that it is the vine of the earth and Jesus is the true vine from heaven. the fruit of the earth is evil so it is gatrhered to be poured out back onto the inhabitants.

Rev 14:18-20
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth,
and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
KJV

That part in red specifically points to the wicked and deceived that worshiped the Antichrist at the end, and or came up against Jerusalem on the last day per Zephaniah 3 and Zechariah 14. God's Wrath is NOT upon His Church in Christ Jesus.

(40) Jesus said, "A grapevine has been planted outside of the father, but being unsound, it will be pulled up by its roots and destroyed." - Gospel of Thomas

In the human psyche we have two forms of identity. One is the identity of the True self which is our God given identity based in Truth and morality. The second is an identity within our ego which is one that we make up for ourselves. Its fake or superficial. The ego identity is seperate from our True self, its an image of who we perceive ourself to be. A doctor, a sports player, a Christian.

The ego is a completely necessary part of the human psyche but when it takes root we lose touch with who we truly are. I personally use the term disassociation because at its core thats what it is. A disassociation from our enherent nature.

Most people are trapped in the identity of their ego. That's what we call the current "human condition".

Hi Daniel, welcome to the forum sir, great question. To start with this vine is not referring to Jesus, rather God has great anger against it. God's anger for this vine was announced long before as Zeph 3:8. Isa 63:3-6 too speaks of the day of God's anger, speaking about that time. Take note of Joel 3:12-14 as well. It is really just another reference to God's day of vengeance which will completely destroy satans wicked system here on the earth sir.
