It slowly dawns on Mankind, that the flesh profits nothing, and more than that: the place (in Heaven) for the flesh cannot retain it (expectations?)

Hi there,

So I write these things, as much for my own clarity, as anything else. This time, I am addressing the expectations that Mankind has of the Lord. What are these expectations? Well, they are basically that the flesh of Mankind keep living. In other words, not only do men not want to die, they want to find a way to live in posterity. If their flesh did not die, they would be free, both to sin and do good, without conscience. But this is not the Lord's plan!

The Lord's plan, is that Man come into relationship with Him. That means the things which men want - in their flesh not dying - are revealed to Man, as it were, beyond their reach. "Beyond their reach" being 'in the Lord'; not that they can't access it, but that they can't access it without coming to the Lord in faith. This is important, because it means there is no competition among men (or any other created thing) for greater and greater flesh. Put simply, not even the Devil can avoid coming face to face with the Lord. The Lord is the Door, and for the Devil, that Door is on the way out. In other words, one Day the Devil will be without strength in his flesh.

So what is it that Men and the Devil and the Faith are contending for, if the flesh can promise no eternality? In terms of the faith, it (the flesh) gives us strength to pause on the will of God and consider it, how we might save our soul in the process. In terms of the Devil, the flesh tempts us and gives us a moment to weigh our love of Heaven, against the dangers of Hell, how we might find praise for God in the process. In terms of Men, the flesh gives us power to deliver Word, what it means and why it means what it means, that we might charge our spirit, to do the works set out for the Spirit in us to do. These things combine, because the flesh is no obstacle to the Spirit, rather the Spirit inhabits the flesh, to do the Will of God, in these things.

Supposing that we finish our works, there is still no provision for the flesh, because in the process it becomes weak, like the Spirit is weak. It is only then for the Spirit to receive the Spirit back from the flesh, with what has been accrued in the working of the Spirit. In Heaven we can compare our successes, with our losses, among those who have struggled the same - this is a great thing! This means that our struggle is never in vain, for the Cloud of Witness that surrounds the Lord imparts to us recognition even for things we may have only thought we may attempt - nothing is lost! This is the power of God, that His experience becomes our guide and our Love for Him becomes our compass. He is pleased with this!

So surely if the Work is completely of God, the flesh will recuperate, as if by slumber it gains a sense of its place again - but there is no place for the flesh in Heaven! This is a mystery, will the flesh guide the soul or the spirit or the praise, if that it what we are made of? Surely we must surrender the flesh to the Holy Spirit and He will direct all our actions. But do we enjoy being predetermined? The reality is that what we are in Heaven, our Heavenly bodies respond to our soul, in ways that the flesh never could. We are set free to praise God lavishly, to be convicted strongly and to grow in spirit awesomely. The key in the flesh that brought us to life, will unlock freedom in our Heavenly bodies. This is the subtlety of God's Creation, that in Heaven nothing is a prisoner to what it was.

We have power in this, now and if we are diligent to praise God, grow in spirit and deliver souls, we will be called great and mighty and true in the Lord - this is something to work for! We want God's mastery, there is no doubting that and here is the way. We only need to trust the Holy Spirit and He will reveal it. It is something we can impart, something we can make manifest. It empowers leaders to rule over us and children to come under us. It creates friends and alliances. It sharpens our sword, and quickens our wit. The Lord approaches us, to inspire us and stands afar off that we come to Him. It is a word in the inner ear, and a sight for the eyes. Blessed are we that we see what we see and hear what we hear. The time will come when we are rewarded for all these things (and our reward will follow after us).

Don't be angry that you can't keep your flesh, that is basically the Word I am sharing here. We need God's blessing, more than we need our flesh, that is the summation of it.

God bless.
